VINYLUX™ Weekly Polish by CND is a professional system which provides week-wear of the nail polish, when used with the VINYLUX Weekly Top Coat. It includes adhesion promoters that completely eliminate the need for base coat. The manicure becomes drier and drier from day to day without any yellowish pigment appearing. Vinylux nail polishes contain 7free formula which means there are no harmful ingredients like dibutylphthalate, toluol, formalin and its resin.
Size - 15 ml.
The brush of Vinylux nail polishes is the same as in Shellac line, even and straight cut.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1) manicure your nails and degrease them
2) apply the color polish with NO BASE! Usually it’s applied in 2-3 layers, as a gel polish. Of course you need to dry each layer
3) Finish with one layer of VINYLUX™ Weekly top coat, cover the nails fully with it
4) Cover the edges
From time to time I can see bad reviews on the week-long wear system by Vinylux, that is all because you skip some of the steps. Of course you’ll have chips if you don’t apply a top or don’t cover edges!
My color is Oxblood #222, dark vinous shade from autumn collection 2016. I applied it in 3 thin layers.
And now let’s speak about the method of application. The first layer applies not fully with fair patches and paleness (looks as if I applied gel polish). It dries very quickly, by the way, so don’t wait too long to apply the second layer:)
The second one looks better, but some pale spots still can be seen.
The third layer looks much better - the color is more intense, and the coverage is more even and smooth.
And this is how my nails look after the Top Coat of VINYLUX.
The top coat evens the manicure and gives glossiness. Of course it has nothing to do with gel polish gloss, as this one wears out very quickly. It dries longer, than the color. Mine got dried in 30 minutes.
The product removes as a usual nail polish. Although the color is being very intense, it didn’t dye my skin and nails around. The only disadvantage is that I feel that my nails are very dry after this product.
And now let’s talk about the week-wear provided system. These photos were done after a week of wearing. Literally two hours before taking pics, the edges on annular and little finger chipped, and yesterday (on the 7th day), the top wore out a bit. The photos are for you to judge:)
