There are nail lacquers which I love very much and ready to forgive them all their downsides. But there are also some lacquers which don’t have any drawbacks and are just perfection.
And this is actually what I can say about the Orly nail lacquers. I don’t have a very big collection so far, though I’m planning to keep it growing.
Currently I have them in the following colors:
Red Flare
High on Hope
Flow Play
Androgynie
Goth
Life's a Peach
I literally love everything about these nail lacquers by Orly. They all have a very thin and convenient to use brush which is so nice to apply and correct the mishaps. Though there are no mishaps usually as the brush does the job very neatly. The products have very nice consistency. Two coats are usually enough for an opaque and thick coverage. The formula applies well, evens out on the nail plate itself and then dries down very quickly leaving a shiny finish.

Today I’ll speak about two colors. Meet the Red Flare:
This one is creamy consistency-wise and it has a rather complicated color to describe. It’s a red shade with pink undertones that looks bloody-scarlet in one light and becomes almost fuchsia in another. This color doesn’t look cheap. It’s very intense, pigmented and looks as a good green wine.
The technical characteristics of this color are fab. It applies well even in one layer though still looks a little bit sheer, so I’d advise you apply two coats. It dries down quickly and shines really beautifully.
For a long time I hesitated to use this nail lacquer which I really regret now. Look at how mega-cool this product looks if I add some stamping to my nails.

ORLY - Goth
As a true fan of black and almost black nail polishes and lacquers, I just couldn’t resist buying this one as well. Well, and the name is just fantastic.
ORLY - Goth is a black creamy nail lacquer with some tiny silver hexangular glitter to it.
The higher opacity is obtained if you apply two coats. The staying power is okay as the second day of wear usually reveals some chips. But maybe that’s because I was too busy with housework.
