Today I will show you a wonderful nail polish from Morgan Taylor - Night Owl - and also the different types of manicures you can make with it. If you’re interested, just keep on reading;)
I received Night Owl in a Morgan Taylor Matte About Gloss set, which also included two top coats (matte and shiny).
The nail polish comes in a beautiful heavy glass bottle, which is attractive and comfortable to hold.
The color is an intense dark-plum, almost black. It makes my skin look a little bit red.
The brush is of a medium width, something between Golden Rose and Orly, with a straight cut. It’s comfortable to use. I think lovers of wide brushes will be as satisfied as the ones who love thin brushes.
The nail polish has a rather creamy consistency. It’s better to apply it in three thin layers than in two thick ones. It dries quickly enough for a three-layer-polish. It took half an hour to dry . This nail polish is very glossy. I’m quite happy with the lasting power, especially with the almost black color – three days with no worn spots, only tiny chips in some places.
It comes off without a problem, and doesn’t dye your skin or nails.
And I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t enrich my manicure. This time I decided not to take the easy route. At first I applied matte top from the set of Mattes a Wrap, and when it dried I applied stamping. To make the art visible I used transparent gloss on top.
In general, I’m delighted with this nail polish, I would like to continue getting to know more about this brand.
