Today I’m going to devote my review to the amazing Sally Hansen nail polishes. There are 4 polishes that I tried out and below are the results!
№ 590 Ruby Shimmers
Volume: 14.7 ml
The brush with rounded ends is quite wide and flat. It’s a half-transparent raspberry pink with red fine shimmer and hexagonal holographic glitters. I apply the nail polish with quite thick coats, as its texture allows it and doesn't smear.
Despite its half-transparent consistency two coats are enough to cover my nails evenly. They are dry in 20 minutes. After the nail polish has set, my nails are uneven because of the glitters. To make my nails look perfect I apply 2 coats of the Sally Hansen miracle Gel Top Coat next.
It holds up for 4 days, then I remove it, as it chips on my thumbs. It’s actually hard to wear it off due to a huge amount of shimmer.
2 coats of the nail polish + 2 coats of the Top Coat:
№279 Pink-terest
It’s a bubblegum pink shade that applies easily. It looks patchy with 2 coats, but the third coat makes it better. The nail polish dries out in 20 minutes. The finish is so beautiful and high-gloss that there is no need to apply any Top Coat. But to make my manicure stay longer I apply the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Top Coat.
It lasts 3 days, but the tip wear is noticeable. It removes with ease and doesn't dye my nails or skin.
3 coats of the nail polish + 1 Top Coat:
№339 Electric Pop
The texture is pink and almost neon. It looks brighter on my nails than in the bottle. The consistency is thick, but a convenient brush spreads it out well. I let my nails dry for 15-20 mins. The finish is super glossy. Then I apply a Top Coat of the line.
The nail polish holds up for 48 hours. I remove it when it starts to chip. It comes off easily and doesn't dye my nails or skin.
2 coats and a Top Coat.
№679 Digi-Teal
This nail polish is bright blue and very easy to use. 2 coats are enough to build up the full coverage. It dries out quickly. The finish is glossy, but to get more of it you can apply a Top Coat. If you use this nail polish with the Sally Hansen miracle Gel Top Coat, you should apply a base coat, though it’s not stated by the manufacturer. I removed the nail polish after 24 hours, but it was still good.
