I’d like to tell you about one of the products from my favorite brand today, which is Avene Eau Thermale Mousse Nettoyante Cleansing Foam!
I’ve been using another cleanser before that, but my face didn’t feel clean and fresh after washing, so I’ve decided to change and bought the Avene Cleansing Foam.
Price: around $20
Volume: 150 ml
Shelf life: 3 years.
The product expires within 6 months after opening.
The product is packed in paper packaging. There was also a leaflet inside, but I haven’t taken any pictures of it.
Ingredients:
The product itself is transparent and has a nice cosmetics scent. In fact, I love Avene, because they don’t add any potent fragrances to their products. Plus, the scents don’t linger long on the skin.
The bottle has a useful pump dispenser.
The cleanser is designed for normal to combination skin types.
I have combination skin. I won’t call it sensitive, but sometimes I do have some redness because of the particular ingredients, especially the clay. Thank God this brand doesn’t use it in their products.
Use and results
Option No.1: The manufacturer states that the cleanser can be used as a makeup remover. However, this is quite a controversial issue. I’ve tried to remove my foundation and not a waterproof mascara with it. As a result, it removed the foundation without fuss, but there were difficulties with the mascara. I managed to remove it on the second go only.
However, I bought this cleansing foam for washing only and wasn’t planning to remove my makeup with it. I use only specific products for this purpose, namely micellar waters.
So, let’s move on to the second option.
Option No.2: Day/night washing. The product performs perfectly here! It removes the skin sebum on the first try. Plus, my skin gets perfectly matte.
So, the good:

### nice scent that doesn’t linger long on my skin
### makes my skin super clean and refreshed
### my skin is matte after washing
### no dryness or peeling
### doesn’t leave any soap residue or a tacky film after washing
### my skin is smooth and silky
I haven’t found any cons for me, but to be fair, I’ve decided to give it 4 stars, because it doesn’t remove my makeup completely.
CONCLUSION: I’ve been looking for a good gentle cleanser for the winter that wouldn’t cause any irritation or make my skin dry and I found it. Avene cleanser is a perfect option for me.
