Pros: a little goes a long way, doesn't dry out skin, doesn't make skin oily, easy to wash off

Hello everyone Smile

I prefer Korean products when it comes to skin care, but this time I decided to try out something new and purchased a few things from French brands. I like some of them and will try to write my impressions about them next time.

Today I’m bringing you my thoughts on the Caudalie Instant Foaming Cleanser.

I bought it for a bargain price. It was included in a set: The Moisturizing Sorbet with 40 ml + The S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum with 10 ml + Foaming Cleanser with 50 ml.

On the official website you can also purchase a sample for testing.

The bottle is made of plastic:

Ingredients:

The pump:

The pump is handy and can easily control the amount of the product. DO NOT shake the bottle before use.

Just press the pump and the foam comes out.

It does have a scent. It’s enjoyable, fresh and feels like a cosmetic fragrance. The foam is soft and airy, but it settles down quickly:

This cleanser is not meant for makeup removal. It’s good for washing your face in the morning or as a final step in cleansing.

My skin type:

I have normal skin type at the moment. It’s neither dry nor oily. When improper and aggressive products are used, it becomes dry and reacts to it with redness.

The foaming cleanser should remove completely without drying out my skin, which is very important to me.

My experience with the product:

I use the Nettoyante Fleur de Vigne twice a day: evenings after the cleansing oil and mornings alone. I apply it to my slightly damp skin and massage in gently for 20-30 seconds. After that I wash it off. I haven't noticed that this cleanser dried out my skin. It’s all relative and everyone has his/her own preferences, but as for me, I understood the following:

Korean cleansers make my skin squeaky clean, so I decided to forget about them for a while.

After washing I waste no time and apply the serum immediately. In the case with Korean stuff, my skin was already dry and taut before I happened to use a serum.

I carried out some experiments. In the morning I was washing my face with water only and after about 10 minutes, it was dry. I wanted to moisturize my skin right away. Moreover, such a way caused more blackheads on me.

So, it means that my skin constantly requires moisture. It’s just… one cleanser dries it out quicker, the other slower.

After the Caudalie Instant Foaming Cleanser my skin is not squeaky clean, but it’s still refreshed and clean.

If I apply some heavy product overnight, it removes everything effortlessly. It washes off fuss-free and doesn’t leave any film or residue on me.

I have about 5 minutes to come to my creams and serums and apply it slowly to my skin after this cleanser. 2 pumps are enough for a single use, but I have a mini version, so it may be different when you buy a full-size product.

Are there any dupes that will also be not drying to skin and easy to remove?

Yes, the Japanese Funs Cleanser is nice. I’m been using it with great pleasure and will definitely repurchase it.

It doesn’t absolutely dry out my skin, but the foam is a little richer than that of Caudalie.

I don’t see any reason to underrate this foaming cleanser. It’s a good product. It cleanses my skin well and causes no irritations.

Have a good mood Smile
