Hey guys!
I purchased this lip balm for the second time.
I first started using it about a year ago. I bought it specifically for winter hoping to protect and revive my cracked and dry lips.
I’ve tried quite a good deal of products from this brand and I loved most of them. I decided to repurchase this lip balm, as I had quite a good experience with it.
For the most part, however, I bought it for my kid, because the stuff is fragrance- and paraben-free.
About the product:
This repairing barrier balm soothes, protects and rebuilds the epidermis on chapped, cracked and irritated lips and zones, thanks to its formula concentrated up to 5% of soothing and repairing Panthénol, and enriched with MP-Lipids, pro-hydration active ingredient, in a breakthrough highly filmogenic formula, ultra-comfortable and protective.

Ingredients:
CAPRYLIC / CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE, PPG-5 PENTAERYTHRITYL ETHER, PEG-5 PENTAERYTHRITYL ETHER, BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII BUTTER / SHEA BUTTER, CERA ALBA / BEESWAX, PANTHENOL, HYDROGENATED VEGETABLE OIL, ETHYLHEXYL PALMITATE, SILICA SILYLATE, POLYBUTENE, GLYCINE SOJA / SOYBEAN STEROLS, AQUA / WATER, SODIUM SACCHARIN, MYRISTYL MALATE PHOSPHONIC ACID, PENTAERYTHRITYL TETRA-DI-T-BUTYL HYDROXYHYDROCINNAMATE.
This lip balm comes in a squeeze tube. As for me, I don’t really appreciate such packages and prefer sticks.
The formula is thick and transparent.
What I like about it is a nice scent and a sweet and non-chemical taste about it.
The effect after use:
Does it restore dry lips?
Yes, but not as quickly as I would like it to. One has pretty high hopes about such a lip balm. And I thought that I would get perfect lips overnight.
In reality it does nourish my lips, but I have to apply multiple coats to get better results. It heals my cracked lips as well, but again…it requires much time and multiple layering.
Some of you probably say that I expect incredible results overnight in vain. But I actually got such an effect after using a Shea Lip Butter, so…it was like a salvation for me. But this lip balm is so pricey that I thought I would be literally wowed.
Does it protect my lips from chapping and drying?
Yes, absolutely... provided you use it every time you go out.
I choose this lip balm over the popular Uriage Lip Balm in a stick when comparing them both, because the latter is not that effective when it comes to protective properties.
My overall thoughts:
I loved this lip balm in general. It’s good as a product against chapped and cracked lips for winter. It helps maintain my lips in good condition when used regularly.
I don’t have any complaints about the ingredients either. It didn’t cause any irritation on me.
As a rule I use this lip balm before going out, when it’s windy or snowing. It does a good job here, so I recommend you try it.
Thanks for reading!
