I got the Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate from the Lancome Hydra Zen Neurocalm set. I heard a lot of good and bad things about this serum, but I was eager to try this product myself. Moreover, I’m 34 y.o. now, which is the very age to test various anti-aging skincare products. The only thing that bothered me was the price. Plus, I feared buying the full version, because there is always a chance that the product won’t be good for the skin. Well, I’m glad that I have an opportunity to try this product now.

About my skin:
I have combination skin. When I was testing this product, I had a normal T-zone and dry patches around my nose. Wrinkles were not really a problem then, but I had smile lines. The right side had deeper lines, by the way. Moreover, I had slight wrinkles on my forehead. Well, yes, I could have solved this problem by dermal fillers, but I have reasons not to do this. Firstly, I live somewhere off the beaten track, where there are not many qualified beauticians. Secondly, the effect lasts only about 6 months. So, I’m not ready to pay for this. I prefer using new creams and serums at home.
The information I found on the back of the packaging:
The outer appearance of my mini-version differs from the full size, but the manufacturer made it very comfortable to use, too.
On the left you can see the full-size bottle with 30 ml, on the right - mini-version with 7 ml of Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate.
A few words about the packaging:
The bottle is made of black plastic material and has a built-in plastic dropper for your convenience, which takes 10 drops at a time. It works well and I’m going to leave it for my collection of empty little bottles for further usage. For example, I can pour another serum in there.
Consistency, color and smell:
The consistency is watery and even. By squeezing the dropper, the drops run down without stopping. In the photo below you can see that I’ve tried to catch the moment of a drop falling down.
It has a blurry white, almost transparent color. The product is fragrance-free.

Use and my thoughts:
I’ve been using this serum after the night cream Lancome Hydra Zen Nuit every evening for the last 15 days and there is still some of the product left.
The bottle lasts for quite a while, which is a great plus.
I spread out 3 drops on my skin. I apply a drop to my forehead and two drops to every cheek. It distributes easily and feels lightweight and slippery. It feels like it increases in volume, so 3 drops are enough for the whole face.
Moreover, it absorbs in tracks, which is awesome. It neither leaves a film on my skin nor feels tacky or sticky. I feel very comfortable wearing this product. My skin breathes.
After use my skin is smooth, somewhat polished and elastic. A slight lifting-effect is noticeable. More than that, I’ve noticed that my smile lines diminished and my pores got smaller for some time. After use the cream applies with ease without any greenhouse effect or weighing down my skin. I’ve noticed that the cream moisturizes my skin when used with a night cream really well. The dry patches around my nose disappeared. The acne spots are finally getting lighter. Honestly, I didn’t expect such an effect from this serum.
If you apply it to your skin alone and put your makeup on, it evens out your skin and works like a primer. The foundation applies evenly and the skin looks great. The serum hasn’t clogged my pores or caused any allergies.

The Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Concentrate hasn’t worked wonders, but I loved using it. If it was not for the price, I would have bought a bigger bottle.
I definitely recommend you try it, if you have such a possibility. I don’t really bother about the ingredients, as I love the effect on my skin. Therefore I give it 5 stars.
Thank you for reading my review! Be always beautiful!
