I got this L'occitane Immortelle Precious Cleansing Foam as a present when I bought their Immortelle Precious Cream.
The size of the bottle with the foam isn’t big, just 50ml but it was rather enough to test it and see the properties of it.
Whenever we buy cleansing lotions, toners, foams, sprays or anything cleansing we usually expect the same thing, like a good cleansing effect, makeup removing as well as fresh feelings. But here they also promise us that we’ll get a beautiful complexion if we keep using this foam daily.
And I do really want to believe this promise since the price of the product leaves much to be desired. The full sized product retails for $30 on the official web site which is only 150ml.
Using the product I noticed that it has a very lightweight foam texture and pleasant scent. As for me, the foam was a little bit drying for my skin (it’s such a problem for me especially in winter). One press of the pump was enough for one use but I also think that I used only one press of the pump to make the bottle go as long as possible.
The cleansing effect was rather crap for me and that’s why I also had to use a cleansing toner. I could also see that the product didn’t clean my skin properly.
It’s rather difficult to say if my complexion has become better or not after I've started to use this product, as there are too many factors that affect our complexion, like fatigue, season and so on. As for my skin, I haven’t noticed any changes.
I respect the L’occitane products and their quality, but since the price for this product is really high, I don’t find it reasonable to splurge on this Immortelle Precious Cleansing Foam for the effect it has.
