Today we’ll speak about a facial mist with aloe, rose water and herbs done by Mario Badescu. I’m here to share my thoughts about it.
Mario Badescu products are broadly sold across the USA. You can buy it in beauty stores, as well as online - Ulta or SEPHORA. And of course, don’t forget about the official brand site.
The price will depend on the size. So, the travel-friendly sample will cost you $5 while the full size retails for $7.
No additional box or wrapping, so it comes like this in a plastic bottle. The plastic is almost transparent, so you’ll control how much of it you still have.

The back it of will present some more details on it.

I can’t help but mention the handy bottle because:
1. First of all, it’s rather compact. That leads to no room-taking and also a nice travel-friendly option.
2. Secondly, the tube closes safely thanks to the top cap. So, the chances that it’ll pop open and spill the contents are very much close to zero.
3. And finally, the pump is nice. It makes it possible to use the product any place, any time.

But I have to mention one thing about the pump which embarrasses me a little. You see, I’ve gotten used to finely dispersed water drops from such sprays.
As for this one, the pump may dispense rather huge drops with the formula. It’s not always pleasant when a huge drop bumps into your face and threatens your makeup. I can’t say that it’s critical, just a fact.
Size: 59ml (travel size) and 118ml (full size)
Made in the USA
Inside the bottle, we have a liquid which is particularly scented. In this case, it’s all about aloe, rose water and herbs. As for me, I can feel only rose water and associate it with a Bulgarian rose, if you know what I mean.
Right here, I say that the smell is potent and it lingers, stays on my skin after application.
Unfortunately, this smell freaks me out too quickly, even though I love rose.
Ingredients:
Aqua (Water, Eau), Propylene Glycol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Rosa Canina Extract, Thymus Vulgaris (Thyme) Leaf Extract, Fucus Vesiculosus Extract, Gardenia Florida Fruit Extract, Caprylyl Glycol, Hexylene Glycol, Polysorbate 20, Parfum (Fragrance), Phenoxyethanol,Sodium Chloride, Citronellol, Geraniol, CI 17200 (Red 33), CI 42090 (Blue 1)
The product is alcohol-free.
So, what results to expect from it?First of all, it’s a pick-me-up mist that is especially needed when you’re traveling across hot countries for example. I use it this way most of all.
Product promises:
Revitalize skin with dewy radiance. Whether spritzed for a hydrating boost or mid-day pick-me-up, our cult-favorite facial spray helps revive dehydrated skin anytime, anywhere. It's a rejuvenating mist infused with herbal and botanical extracts (like Aloe Vera, Gardenia, Rose, Bladderwrack and Thyme) that help soothe and re-energize skin—giving it a healthy, radiant glow.

Secondly, it’s not a secret, many people may use it post-makeup to give skin a dewy finish. And Facial Spray from Mario Badescu does this job fine too. However, here the result will be temporary. Moreover, I’m not a fan of it.
By the way, they also advise spraying your brush or a sponge with the product before applying your foundation. I haven’t tried it with a brush but it was rather interesting to test it with my sponge. Honestly, no difference was noticed, so I can’t get why some use it this way.
The third is that some use it as a toner. Even the brand site states it’s a mist, not a toner. However, according to the brand ambassador, you may use it as a toner if you like it this way.
They also say to keep it in a fridge for more cooling effects.
As for me, I use it as thermal water and don’t actually bother with any other ways of using it.
In fact, I think it’s a good skincare product which might be useful for many of you. I like everything about it but the smell. After all, it’s too potent and chasing for me. I don’t use this water that often as I’d like to. The idea is awesome but the realization doesn’t play all 100% due to the smell.
Yet, the Facial Spray does its main job and does it well.
I’m not planning to repurchase but this experience is still pleasant for me.
