(¯`’•.¸·°•✿✿• Hello there! •✿✿•°·¸.•’´¯)
It’s high time to show our feet in summer, therefore we need to take good care of them. The main cream I use at night is Desert Essence Perfect Pistachio Foot Repair Cream, plus the product I’m going to talk about and that is O'Keeffe's for Healthy Feet Foot Cream.
✍ Price and where to buy:
I purchased this cream for about $7.
✍ Volume: 3.2 oz (91g)
✍ The manufacturer promises:
O’Keeffe’s for Healthy Feet is a concentrated foot cream that heals, relieves and repairs extremely dry, cracked feet. When used daily, O’Keeffe’s for Healthy Feet is *clinically proven to instantly boost moisture levels, create a protective layer on the skin’s surface, and help prevent further moisture loss.
In other words, the cream is to keep feet healthy and heal the cracked skin.
✍ List of ingredients:
Water, glycerin, stearic acid, sodium hydroxide, dimethicone, ceteth-10, laureth-4, allantoin, paraffin, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, octyldodecyl stearate, diazolidinyl urea, iodopropynyl butylcarbamate, acrylates/acrylamide copolymer, mineral oil, polysorbate 85.
✍Suggested use:
Apply the foot cream to exfoliated skin at bedtime and after bathing, as these are the most effective times for moisturizing extremely dry feet.
I use the cream only during the day, when I remember that my feet need some moisture. So I go to the bathroom, cleanse my feet with a bath sponge and soap properly, dry them out, apply the cream and put on my socks. However, you can do without socks as well.
✍ Briefly about the packaging:
The jar comes with a paper packaging and a plastic lid, which ensures that your product is safe. You can find the information on the packaging as well as on the bottom of the jar.
The half-transparent blue jar is cute. You can screw the lid just by half. The rubber grip is a great thing the manufacturer invented, as it’s really hard to open the jar with wet hands. Under the lid you can find a white foil that keeps the product safe.
✍ Texture:
The cream has a thick yet light texture. It’s neither watery nor waxy like some other creams. The texture reminds me of a farmer cheese. The cream is unscented and white.
It spreads out easy-breezy. Moreover, it absorbs quickly, if I may say so, because the cream is intended to create a protective layer on the skin.
It doesn’t get shiny on my skin after application and I hardly feel the cream on my feet. However, the product is a little bit tacky when it is on my fingers.
I won’t say that it goes a long way, because the texture is extremely lightweight, so that I want to add more and more of it on my feet to see better results.
I think that the cream is not moisturizing enough for my skin, I need a more oily consistency.
✍ Summary:
It moisturizes and heals my feet just a teeny bit. I wish it could perform better for the price. Given that I prefer wearing slippers at home and that my kids drop pieces of food or anything else in the kitchen and everywhere, my feet get dirty easily.
Well I won’t recommend O'Keeffe's for Healthy Feet Foot Cream to you.
