Design:
The POGO lip balms have cute, stylish and compact packages, which were made of recycled plastic. The balms are super eco-friendly, and moreover, the brand doesn’t test on animals. There are a lot of certificates which verify the brand’s natural ingredients.

These balms are super easy to carry around in my handbag, as well as store on my vanity. Thanks to the rubber bottom, the products never fall down and stay on well. The top cap is actually screw on and see-through. The balm itself sits well in the container and there’s no need to twist it up. The design is mega cool and convenient to use!
The balms were initially packed with a transparent tape with the list of ingredients on and some other product info.

Smell, taste, color, consistency
I’d say that the black Pogo has a pretty neutral scent. I can barely feel some waxy and honey notes to it, plus a tad of sunflower seed oil.
The product doesn’t have any particular taste.
The color of the balm is yellow-ish, though on the lips it looks absolutely transparent. It doesn’t give any glossy finish and in general looks very humble and decent.
The product stays on my lips very well and never bleeds, even when it’s boiling hot. I like the way I feel it on my lips. The consistency is buttery and waxy, which is so pleasant and coating. The most important thing is that it isn’t sticky or anything. The product doesn’t set over time and never creases with a film over my lips.

Spending
The spending of this lip balm is usual and pretty much the same as any other lip balm. One Pogo lip balm will definitely make you forget about the purchase of any other lip balms for 5 or 6 months in a row.

The results on my lips and all the product’s advantages
The black lip balm seems to be as effective as all the other lip balms by the brand. Here I want to list the main advantages of this very lip balm:
it has a beautiful and natural list of ingredients
the package is super travel-friendly and easy to carry around
the formula is skin-emollient, which hydrates, nourishes and deprives my lips from the tightening sensations
the product nicely protects my lips from the sun heat as well as from the hot wind. I deem that in winter it’ll also work well, protecting my lips from the cold weather. (I think I’ll test this lip balm in winter and add my thoughts about it here too)
the formula doesn’t have to be applied very frequently. 2-3 times a day is enough

I haven’t discovered any downsides of the product for me. I use this POGO lip balm with huge pleasure!

Overall
The POGO Lip Balm which has a black package looks very ascetic in comparison with the other lip balms. But I guess that this is what it was meant to be.
This product will be a must for those who can’t stand fruit scents to the formula and prefer neutral scents. But I can assure you that it also works great. As great as all the other lip balms by the POGO brand. This is why I assess it with 5 stars!
