I would call this scrub a good exfoliator with big scrubbing particles. The walnut shell powder serves as an abrasive exfoliant here.
After use, my skin is silky smooth and bright. More than that, my freckles get a little bit lighter as well, because the product removes the epidermis with bright pigments, I guess. The scrub also clears up dry patches on my skin. It doesn’t make my pores larger, but unclogs them gently or at least removes the upper layer of sebum making my blackheads look not so black. St.Ives doesn’t dry out my skin due to the creamy texture. However, I advise you to moisturize your skin after using the scrub, as the exfoliant as well as many other similar products takes off our protective film along with dead skin cells.

Well, the product is perfect for those who gravitate towards scrubs with big scrubbing particles. But I think that girls with thin and sensitive skin would find the texture a bit tough.
