I got one of the new iPhones shortly after they’ve been launched (thanks to my significant other!) It’s gold, powerful and very expensive.
The new color option “gold” looks more like beige or creamy. It’s very delicate and beautiful.iPhone XS:

There is nothing surprising about the design, it’s still the same IPhone X, the Touch ID button has disappeared forever.
Apple claims that new models are more solid because they are made of durable surgical steel and steady glass. One year ago, they used to say the same for iPhone X, and yet it scratched. The new iPhone XS is water-resistant, you can swim with it for a half an hour (max. depth of 2 meters, earlier it was 1,5 m). I haven’t tested it yet, but I think it can survive an accidental fall into water.
Like the previous model, the iPhone XS has two cameras with optical image stabilization. Thanks to the sensors, it’s easier to take better photos when it’s dark.
A new feature, namely Smart HDR, has been introduced. It allows you to take a few photos and combine them into one. The front camera is still 7MP.
In my opinion, the portraits have been improved. The new iPhone blurs the background much better, and delivers better photos in the dark.
Now a few cons:
My spending money didn’t end there. I had to buy a headphone adapter and a fast charger additionally.
I’ve performed an experiment. I played, talked, surfed the web and the phone lasted about 12 hours.
By the way, the phone has 2 sim cards.
Of course, the main disadvantage of this is its price.
In my opinion, there is nothing revolutionary about the new model, except for the camera. Is it worth to switch from X to XS? Nope. Keep the old one, it will serve you many years, they are almost identical.
