Lancôme Tresor Midnight Rose is totally mine as compared to all the other scents in my collection. It feels like it opens me up. I’m very much myself wearing it.
It's a special and I’d say a significant fragrance to me.
The cut-glass bottle is beautiful with its deep purple at the base graduating to a pale lilac at the top.
It looks like a gem! Gorgeous!
The cap is worth noticing also. It’s made of clear cut-glass as well as the bottle.
There’s a purple satin rose at the top which adds something feminine and playful to the bottle.
The atomizer works well, I’ve got no gripes about it.
About the fragrance
Tresor Midnight Rose Lancome is designed for women. It smells floral with woodsy and musky notes.
Tresor Midnight Rose was released in 2011.
The perfume means confidence, elegance, dignity and a bit of haughtiness at the same time. It’s subtle and gentle.
The fragrance smells unique, rich and mysterious. It’s meant for proud, restrained and dignified girls who know who they are.
Top notes: Raspberry, Black currant bud absolute.
Middle notes: Rose absolute, Jasmine.
Base note: Vanilla, Musk.
It's very sweet, yet it doesn’t get too much. The fragrance is like a borderline between dignity and haughtiness, modesty and sensuality, astringency and sweetness. The perfume breaks down into a dark night flower and sweet fruits with some woodsy and musky notes. Plus, it's astringent due to the pink pepper that makes me look a bit serious. Pink pepper being alone among the other floral and fruity notes becomes more gentle and leaves a nice sillage.
It’s a mysterious scent of a tempting, but inaccessible flower that breaks out at midnight only. It’s playfulness and restraint in one bottle.
The perfume is extremely long-lasting
and strong. I feel the fragrance distinctly for a couple of hours. Then it gradually fades, but still it wears almost the whole day on me. It lasts even longer on the clothes.
It leaves quite a significant sillage.
Volume: 50 ml
The fragrance is decent and highly recommended!
