Hey there!
Today I’d like to tell you about the fragrance which suddenly came into my life and made me stop using all the other perfumes. I’ve received it by accident, provoked by an 80% discount, along with four other bunnies from Playboy. But it’s the Queen that has become my favorite and that perfectly matches my personality.
At first I ordered a 1,35 oz bottle, but later I also got it in 2 oz., you know, for later. It’s such a shame when a favorite fragrance becomes discontinued and you have to start looking for something similar.
I have no prejudice against the perfumes with this price range. A perfume is either good or bad, long-lasting or not. You can find the fragrance of your life among the budget-friendly scents, or turn up your nose at the expensive ones.
Queen of the Game was launched in 2016. Top notes are black currant, coffee and passion flower; middle notes are orange blossom and jasmine sambac; base notes are patchouli, chocolate, tonka bean and cedar.
I ordered the fragrance without testing it first, because I saw my favorite notes listed in the perfume pyramid and was sure that I would love it.
Immediately upon the application of the perfume I smell black currant, jasmine and tonka beans. These are the strongest notes, and they make up the sillage as well. Patchouli and chocolate give the fragrance a hint of warmth and sweetness. Orange blossom, passion flower, coffee and cedars are ‘the power behind the throne’, they make the fragrance so special and don’t let it turn into something simply sweet and usual.
The perfume doesn’t have high ratings. No wonder, since the Queen of the Game won’t match everyone. You can either hate it or love it. It’s not for the very first time that I’m falling in love with an outstanding perfume, which reflects my personality and my perception of the world.
Queen of the Game is a scent with wild energy, for those who are self-sufficient, strong, tenacious and always get what they want. It won’t fit cute dresses and shy girls. Sharp tongue, lots of sarcasm, leather jacket, high military boots - that’s what goes with the Queen of the Game, making you appear a bit masculine, but also showing that there is a wildcat in the armor.
The perfume lasts for 5 hours on the skin, yeah, that’s not much indeed. But it can linger on the clothes for 2 days, regardless of weather and season. Highly recommended!
