Hello!
When it was the time to color my hair, we remembered that we had 2 brand new tubes of the Paul Mitchell hair color. At that moment I had my hair highlighted and I really longed for my hair to be even and smooth color-wise. I’m not a professional hairdresser, by the way, and I’ll speak only about my experiences.

Directions

Both times we blended the product with the 6% oxidant in the ratio. 1/1,5. We applied the mixture over my dry hair and let it sit (the directions above states for how long to leave it on).
The first try was with the shade 6NB 6/07.
The second time we decided to blend the two shades together (6NB 6/07, 4G 4/3) in the ratio 1/1.
We washed the color from my hair with the help of a shampoo and after that, we applied a hair mask.
At first we left my hair under a stream of water for 1-2 minutes and only after that rinsed the product off, massaging my scalp.
This hair color is creamy consistency-wise. It’s very easy to smear all over the hair evenly.
This hair color has a rather potent smell. It isn’t pleasant and pretty chemical.
About my hair before
It is colored and highlighted. My roots are deep and I have some gray hair too.
The results
Right here I want to highlight it that my hair wasn’t coarse after using this product. It was soft and pleasant to the touch. However, maybe it was only thanks to the mask that we used, I don’t know.
The first time we used the product over my highlighted hair. Previously, we applied the formula to the roots and then to the length of my hair.

All in all, my hair looks rather natural, doesn’t it? The product nicely canceled out the highlighted locks. But it did almost nothing with my gray hair.
AFTER
Some washes were enough for the initial color to fade. In my opinion, the color fading happened too quickly that time.
The color sits on the highlighted locks well, though it also faded, of course.
The next coloring we met with my hair looking this way:

We used
I wanted the color to look less intense and lighter (it was an epic fail, by the way), that’s why we decided to mix two colors in the ratio 1/1.
The ratio of the colorant and the oxidant remained the same (1/1,5).
This time I decided to apply the product over my roots and sit with it for some time. (about 10 minutes). After that we applied the rest of the product all over my hair length.
In the end my hair didn’t look fairer, but on the contrary, it looked even darker, but that time, we’d finally managed to cancel out the highlighted hair. I know that it was our mistake that the color looked darker, because we didn’t check it with the shade chart. We were hesitating whether to blend the two products together or not, when I finally decided to mix them. The gray here doesn't look detectable, though.
Of course, it’s far from being perfect, though it was already better, you see. I wish I didn’t start all my experiments and colored my hair the same way as the first time.

Overall thoughts
This hair color doesn’t stay long on my hair. Besides it doesn’t cover the gray hair fully. To top it off, I want to say that I didn’t like that the official site doesn’t provide us with plenty of information.
As for the good, I can list the consistency of the product, as well as easy and fuss-free application. What’s more, my hair didn’t look harsh or damaged after the coloring, which is also a very good point. As for the shades, for me the color 6NB seems to be nice.
I also have 1/4 of the tube of the 6NB 6/07 shade and 3/4 of the 4G 4/3 left. I think I’ll use them. I don’t want them to be wasted.
I can’t recommend this hair color for you if you have gray hair. But, if your hair color is smooth and even, then you can give it a shot. The product is super soft and easy to use. But be ready to face the music - the color will fade in a month.
