I’ve been dreaming of buying the Tangle Teezer Original for a long period of time. I’ve been using Tangle Teezer Compact Styler for a few years, but I wanted to get this Original version anyway! It was very pricey, so I waited for a sale. The wait was over when I saw this brush in a magazine for an affordable price. Moreover, the color was so pretty, so I bought it and I’m really happy that I did!
The brush was neatly packed in white packaging, where you can find all the necessary information about the brand. It’s always very nice to get a brush in a gorgeous and stylish package rather than in a messy box, as it was the case when I ordered a fake brush.
A QR-code on the packaging ensures that the article is authentic. You can check this code on the official website.
Under the outer packaging you can see an ordinary protective plastic packaging, where there are a lot of information about the product itself. The brush looks awesome there, so I’m not throwing it away but keeping the brush here.

On one side there is a story about the Tangle Teezer inventor. Plus, there are pros listed. On the back you can read the description in many languages.
Design
The brush has simply fabulous design, which I loved from first sight. The outer part is made of silver plastic and the inner part with teeth is lavender.
The design is 100% girlish and exactly what I love 
Sometimes I grab the brush without any need, but only because it cheers me up.
Although the shape is not conventional and there is no handle, the brush fits great in the hand. The manufacturer thought everything over.
It’s a little bit bigger than the Tangle Teezer Compact Styler, but it’s not a deal-breaker in terms of the performance. I think that the Original version is even more comfortable to use.
Comparison with a fake.
The teeth of the authentic brush are quite soft and are of different length. Additionally, they bend easier. They don’t scratch my scalp, but massages it very gently. A fake has sturdy teeth that hardly bend. They scratch my skin and tug my hair without any detangling effect. Moreover, the fake looks worn out too quickly while the original looks like a new one for a really long time.
I don’t have pictures of my fake brush, unfortunately. I’ve thrown it away long ago.
My experience with Tangle Teezer Original:
Tangle Teezer Original brushes and detangles my hair very well and banishes any knots effortlessly. By the way, the knots appear frequently on my long hair in wintertime especially.
The tool can be used for damp hair, because it doesn’t damage the hair shaft. When I started using the Tangle Teezer my ends became less split, so I don’t have to visit beauty salons very often.
After use there are less hairs left on the brush. So, if you are worried about fallout, this brush is definitely worth a look.
It’s not at all painful to brush my hair, as it has really soft bristles. The naughtiest baby would love it. They massage my scalp very nicely. Therefore I simply adore to brush my hair. Pure delight!
The last thing I’d like to note is that it’s very easy to clean as opposed to a traditional brush with natural bristles. You can remove the hair and wash this plastic brush without fuss.

I’m obsessed with Tangle Teezer Original! It’s worth every dime, as it really works. It does deliver on the promise and makes my day any time I use it. I say GO FOR IT!
