When I heard that Dyson has released their Supersonic hair dryer that promises to blow dry hair way faster than any other regular hair dryer, I became super curious since I have long hair.
I started to look for reviews of the device, but unfortunately, I couldn't find any. I don’t want to mention those YouTube bloggers who received this product to test. Their reviews were uninformative and they all used to say the information which I could easily find on the official website. I wanted to read the reviews of usual girls who really use this product.
And while travelling around Europe, I saw this Supersonic Hair Dryer and couldn’t walk away without it. Moreover the price of $399 seemed to be more profitable than in the US. Actually, at home I had my powerful hair dryer waiting for me. But I was too charmed by Dyson and eventually bought it.
They say that Dyson Supersonic controls and measures the air flow temperature 20 times a second so it won't damage your hair. It takes about 7 minutes for me to blow dry my long hair. And after drying my hair looks very shiny. But honestly, I haven’t noticed any difference between the Dyson and my old hair dryer. Of course Dyson looks stylish and weighs less, about 600g, it’s ergonomic and I can change the airflow temperature.
In the set there was also a non-slip mat, diffuser, 2 attachments, nine-foot power cord and user manual. It also includes a two year warranty on parts and labor.
Will I recommend you buy the Dyson Supersonic? If you have a very simple hair dryer, then yes. However, if you have a good, powerful or professional hair dryer, then Dyson will not impress you while blow drying your hair. Only with its design maybe.
