I’ve been longing to buy a grill pan for a really long time. I love these tasty-looking grill stripes on meat and veggies, on eggplants in particular... The manufacturer promises a no-oil frying, which is good news.
Such grill pans cost quite a lot, so my husband and I decided to pick this option up for a couple of reasons:

Pay special attention to the inner part of the pan, which has a non-stick coating. It has to have no scratches.
The stripes are quite prominent
The back side is very simple. The heating element is round while the pan itself is square. This is the main disadvantage of this item, because the food that is at the corners of the pan doesn’t fry evenly and equally as the food in the middle of it…
Keep that in mind and spread out the food according to the heating element or mix the products constantly to fry them all evenly.

Pros:
The food doesn’t really stick… However, you should always be careful with such a coating. Do not scratch it and use specific wood kitchen spatulas. Do do use in a dishwasher.
I don’t usually like to cook chicken breast, because it becomes over dry as a result. However, it’s different when frying it on this pan. The juice in chicken stays inside, so it’s very tasty as a result. So it sold like hot cakes.
I’ve been cooking chicken at least 30 times this month. Plus, pork and sausages. Now I’m planning to make eggplants…
Cons:
cannot be washed in a dishwasher
I know that all grill pans are square, but to fry the food more evenly on a gas hob, the round pan would be preferable and more user-friendly.
no lid included. The lid could have helped to keep the tasty food warm for a longer period of time… I haven’t found a lid for this pan at Ikea.
a grill press would also be great. I wish I could put something on top of the frying food. For example, I can’t fry peppers on the meat and get these grill marks on them… To achieve it, I have to press it with a wood spatula…
I prepared food both with oil and without it… As for me, the meat was a little dry without adding oil. However, it’s not about the manufacturer’s fault…
So, I think that the pan is worth every dollar.
I give it 5 stars with a minus or 4 stars with a plus.
Moreover, with this pan I realized that I want to purchase the real big and weighty grill pan, which costs a lot.
I doubted if it was a good purchase at the beginning. I wasn’t sure that we would actually use it. I thought that we would try it for a few times and then put it somewhere far away. But I was wrong, we use it constantly for the time being… And it still performs perfectly. So, there is actually no need to buy a more expensive pan just now… We’ve been using it for 4 months now at least every other day, so if it’s going to work the same great, I won’t be thinking about any other pan
