Hello there!
It was about a year ago when I discovered one makeup site which carried me away completely.
And one of the discovery brands for me there has become the Everyday Minerals one, which is said to be all natural and cruelty-free. For quite a while I was longing to try something out from them and this is how I bumped into this kabuki brush with a longer handle. The brush was discounted, so it was a crime to withstand the purchase.
Price: $15
Made by: Everyday Minerals, Inc.
Like all our products, our brushes are 100% vegan and cruelty free! Each brush handle is made from 100% renewable bamboo and our synthetic brush bristles are dense and plush, making them perfect for mineral application.
The brush is perfect for blushes, foundations and face powders. In fact, it’s a real working horse and a multi-tasker.
Its handle is bamboo and the bristles are synthetic.
The bristles are resilient yet not harsh. As for the brush itself, I can see that it’s densely packed and rather handy to use. The bristles don’t prickle my skin. It doesn’t shed and for the time that I’ve been using it, I haven’t seen a bristle fall out.
The brush is easy to clean and wash. After that, it doesn’t lose its shape and remains the same.
It’s interesting that the naming says the brush is Long Handled Kabubi. The first thing that strikes me is that it would have a handle as though of eyeshadow brushes. But in comparison with regular kabuki, here the handle is really long.
The brush wasn’t packed in a box or pouch or wrapped in a plastic bag.
I’ve tested this brush out with my newly bought Meteorites from Guerlain. I didn’t want to splurge on the original brush, you know. I wanted to try the affordable brushes first. Shape-wise, this brush reminds me of the original meteorites brush indeed. And it does all the job fine! It nicely picks up the product and its round cut is a dream for picking up all the pigments.
I don’t have any experience with the brush or liquid products since I bought it for powder textures only.
In the end, I want to say that I’m head over heels with this brush.
It’s worth the price it costs. I wish it had beautiful packaging, though so I could present it to someone.
Thanks for your attention!
