Hello there!
This collection offers a selection of brushes, but I was interested in the B03 Soft Complexion Brush most of all. Right here I want to tell you that I’ve been testing this brush for a week already with different foundations and now I’ve got a profound opinion to share with you.
So, it’s a standard plastic casing of blue and golden colors. Such packaging looks really futuristic and sleek at the same time.
The case offers all the product info, starting from the ingredients and finishing with the distributor.
By the way, here the packaging also offers a picture of Chapman sisters and all the links to their social websites, where you can find more info about their brushes.
Inside the blush was sealed with a plastic latch, which held it really sturdy.
By the way, it was a challenge to open that latch. But I deem that’s for the better, since I can be sure that the brush was safely placed in the case and avoided any damages.
The handle is made of plastic, the ferrule is aluminium and the filaments are synthetic.
The ferrule has the brand’s logo and the number of the brush.
The synthetic filaments are created with a special FauxBlue technique, which imitates the softness of squirrel’s hair to the fullest. At the same time the synthetic materials ensure better longevity of the bristles.
The brush has a doomed head, which somehow reminds me of the Flap Top brushes, but here it has a more rounded cut. This cut makes it perfect to apply the products over my cheekbones or bridge of the nose.
The brush is easy to wash off, though the bristles take too long to dry out. And I want to advise you to wash the brush thoroughly from foundations and soap. (It goes to all the densely packed brushes indeed).
The main purpose of this brush is to buff and blend cream-textured products.
Thanks to the dense pack, this brush works wonders blending wax-based thick foundations, creating a thinner coverage. The same goes to liquid foundations, but the trouble here is that it sinks in more product than usual.
Use light circular or buffing motions to apply the product with this brush. I like buffing motions more, since the coverage looks as though applied with a wet sponge then.
I appreciate the blending of cream highlighters and contouring products with this brush. By the way, it applies my highlighters evenly, creating a seamless finish and no edge effects.
Here’s the results I get with the brush and my foundation, luminizer and cream contouring. All the products are nicely blended out with a thin layer.
If you use brushes to apply your foundation and other cream-based contour products, then I highly recommend you to pay your attention to this brush.
Apart from a good quality ferrule, soft bristles and other details, this brush works wonders on my skin.
It also looks pretty and will definitely become a gem of your vanity.
