Pros: fine grained, variety of colors

Hello beauties!

If the makeup theme is interesting for you, then welcome! Let me introduce you the Contour Kit by Anastasia Beverly Hills. I bought it in the Light to Medium version. So, here it is.

I bought it for 50$, but regret a little bit how much I spent on it. The palette consists of 6 powders for face contouring in the following colors:

On the back side of the packaging there’s some information about the product. The expiry date is within 12 months after opening.

And now let’s look inside.

The palette is compact and has no mirror. As you can see in the photo, the refill pans have different colors, so let’s take each one individually.

VANILLA.

This is a basic soft matte color. The grind is very gentle and this color will be great for fair skin.

BANANA.

Beige-yellow color. It’ll suit more for girls with a tanned skin tone. If you mix these two colors, you’ll get the universal natural shade.

SAND.

This is a pearl highlighter, which doesn’t give any vulgar shine, but on the contrary, - only some delicate glow. With its help, you can get the “dewy” skin finish effect. It’s a bit dusty when you apply it onto the brush.

JAVA.

Grey brown color with a purple and cool undertone, which will be great for fair-skinned girls.

FAWN.

Grey brown color with a light olive undertone, also great for fair skin.

HAVANA.

Brown color with a slight red undertone. But it’s not red sculpture powder, it gives just the right tanned color. It’s great as a bronzer or contour but for very tanned skin. It’s better to apply it with a fluff brush. I like to mix all the three dark powders to get a very interesting effect on my face.

You probably want to know how are the products in blending? During the time of using this palette, I’ve never had any problems with blending. The powders are fine-grained and aren’t highly pigmented, so you can’t overdo with them. For me, that’s a great advantage. They are pressed tightly and are very economical.

The things you’ll love about this palette:

  • as setting powder of under-eye area. This product is perfect for setting the concealer
  • highlighting of all the high points on the face
  • you can easily correct the baggy skin under eyes, or dark circles
  • you can correct any face parts which can give you sad expression (downturned corners of the mouth, eyes, laugh lines), you can get a light lifting effect whilst doing an anti-age makeup.

I also use this palette as the basic eyeshadows, which is very convenient, by the way.

I’m absolutely satisfied with my purchase. I definitely recommend it. I hope that my review was useful for you.

Be always beautiful!
