Hello pretties!
June 2018 brought us the Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina eyeshadow palette, which can boast with pink-lilac-golden color range.
The palette comprises of 7 matte shades and 7 shimmer shade. The mattes are absolutely the same as of the previous launches by the brand, like from the Soft Glam or Modern Renaissance palettes. They are super pigmented, soft and easy to work with. I won’t say anything new if I tell you that the shades fall out a little and dust during application. It’s a well known story about the brand already.
Yet, I still have to say that the shades Soul and Passion are a tad different from the other shades in the palette, because they are drier and stiff by touch. As for the application, they always require thorough blending and color packing.
As for the other shades, I can’t be picky about them. I was even a little bit surprised when I found out how soft and pliant the shade Love was. Besides, the shade Base is really basic and it not only sets my eye primer, but also evens out my eye skin tone.
As for the shimmers, come on, you know that the quality is top notch here. Nice quality, fabolous color payoff and the way these shades look on my eyes - all make me rave about this palette. The golden shades come with a selection to choose from. Starting from the super light gentle golden and finishing with a saturated bold copper.
The application is fuss free with my fingers, as well as with brushes, plus the wear time is fantastic throughout the day.
However, the staple shades of the palette, which are Wild Child and Celestial have turned out to be a little bit more difficult to work with, in comparison with the others.
They require fingertip or wet brush for their application, otherwise there won’t be any color payoff from them.
In general, I liked this palette and I don’t regret buying it at all. The color selection is thought out and harmonious. One can easily create an endless amount of makeup looks with it, starting from super vibrant and bold smokey eyes and finishing with gentle nude or golden wash of colors.
I give the Norvina eyeshadow palette 5 stars and truly recommend it for purchasing.
