The best sellers and hits of any brand are usually great no matter how you slice it. TheBalm has released its best products and combined them in just one palette. The price of the palette is equal to 2 products purchased individually. It almost sounds too good to be true. Today I’d like to tell you about this fabulous palette.

The palette is made of cardboard. It is very lightweight and comes with a convenient mirror inside. The products are also packed in a paper “pencil case”, which is very convenient to use.

The contents from left to right:

  • Hot Mama Blush/ Illuminator

  • Instain blush in Argyle.

  • CabanaBoy blush/ eyeshadow.

  • Bahama Mama contour powder/ bronzer.

  • Insane Jane and Mischievous Marissa eyeshadows from the ShadyLady palette.

  • Sexy eyeshadow from the Nude‘Tude palette.

  • Lead Zeppelin eyeshadow from the Balm Jovi palette.

  • Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter.

  • How Bout Them Apples lipstick in Caramel that can be used on cheeks as well.

  • TheBalm Girls lipstick in Mia Moore.

This palette is unique, because it is so functional to use. You can create practically anything with this palette! If you add foundation, mascara and powder to the palette, you get everything you need to create a beautiful makeup. Therefore TheBalm Of Your Hand palette is very useful for on the go or trips. The upper row:

Hot Mama blush, Instain blush in Argyle, CabanaBoy bronzer and Bahama Mama bronzer:

Hot Mama is one of the most popular blushes of the brand. The shade is hyped up because it is similar to the legendary Nars Orgasm but this shade is warmer.

I like wearing the shade not only on the cheeks, but also on my eyelids:

The makeup with the Hot Mama blush:

Argyle shade is a gentle rose. Nothing special. It compliments tan skin tone best.

CabanaBoy is better on the contrary. It is a cold rose with a hint of lilac. It has a satin finish without any shimmer. I love using this shade in winter.

Bahama Mama is one of the best bronzers and contour powders for me. It can be used as a contour powder against tan skin for summer and as a warm bronzer in wintertime, as it doesn’t have any hint of orange or gray.

Do not apply the product to foundation or bare skin, as it spreads out patchy, so use a powder first. Then it lasts longer!

Swatches:

The products surprised me in a good way!

The shades are finely milled and so awesome. They wear up to 8-9 hours on me. Moreover, they are highly pigmented and easy to blend out.

The bad is that they are a little bit dusty, but it is not a huge hindrance.

Lower row: Insane Jane, Mischievous Marissa eyeshadow, Sexy eyeshadow, Lead Zeppelin eyeshadow and Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter.

The eyeshadows are highly pigmented and the payoff is on point. All shades except Sexy eyeshadow have shimmer to them and look very beautiful.

The Sexy shade is matte and more dusty than the others.

Insane Jane is my favorite. It looks nice on my eyelids. Moreover, I love supplementing it with bright lines.

Total look:

Mischievous Marissa is too orange-y for my liking. I use it rarely, although the quality is good.

Sexy is a beautiful and intense burgundy. The shade is very dry as opposed to the other shades out there. You can make amazing smokey eyes or apply it to the inner corner of your eye.

Lead Zeppelin is a green shade with a lot of shimmer that is hardly visible on my eyes. The shade is brilliant!

Everyone who loves makeup knows about the fabulous Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter.

The product was released when the glow noticeable from space had become popular. The Mary-Lou Manizer gives an incredible glow for real! The highlighter is meant for daring girls. I love the color, but it goes with tan skin better due to the warm undertone.

The product can also emphasize uneven skin and pores, but it is not a deal-breaker for me Smile

Comparison with other highlighters:

The glow seems to be over the top in everyday makeup, but it is absolutely OK for an evening look.

The finely milled highlighter has a soft texture. It is super pigmented, but it is easy to deal with.

The staying power is great as well. The product lasts the day.

Creamy formulas:

How Bout Them Apples lipstick in Caramel: My skin is prone to oily sheen, that’s why I use the product for my lips mostly. More than that, the shade looks nude against my natural lip color.

The makeup with the Insane Jane eyeshadow, Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter and Caramel lipstick on my lips:

If you don’t set it with a powder or blush, it wears about 2 hours on my cheeks only and about an hour on my lips.

The Balm Girls lipstick in Mia Moore:

The consistency is different. It is gel-like and not so lightweight. It is also pigmented enough, but blends out with ease. I usually prefer applying a thin layer to my lips.

It looks cold and fruity and very refreshing on my lips!

Final thoughts:

In TheBalm Of Your Hand palette is amazing in all respects! I have lots of palettes in my makeup bag, but I’ve never had such a multi-tasking one. I use almost all the products of the palette except for the Mischievous Marissa and Sexy eyeshadows.
