Pros: a little bit goes a long way, comfort wear, nice coverage, non-drying, seamless finish

Hello there!

Today I’m bringing you my rave review of a concealer, which is from The Balm brand.

It’s so small and cute!

It came packed with a square colorful cardboard box:

One of the sides provides us with the list of ingredients:

The inside of the box also provides us with some info, though it isn’t informative there.

Here it is: a babe concealer with a see-through plastic jar and a screw-on top cap:

The bottom of the jar also gives some product info:

Let’s open the jar and we’ll see a small rounded sponge: I don’t actually get what it is for, but I have to confess that sometimes I use it to apply this concealer to the areas where I need it, and I like the results then.

This is how the product looks like: And here it is in my hands. I took these shots in summer when my skin was tanned, that’s why it might look a little bit fair over me. But even that color showed nice blending, which was absolutely seamless and edges-free. The concealer doesn’t settle into my pores or accentuate fine lines. Nice job, dude!

So now let’s have a look at the way the concealer looks over my skin. My main issue is the presence of the dark circles around my eyes, which are really obvious, unless I camouflage them with a concealer. A close-up:

And this is a more natural distance from where people usually see me:

It looks as though I’m super tired and in general don’t look my best.

I apply the concealer, which is pretty pigmented so I need only the tiniest bit of it.

And I thoroughly blend it out then. Here the product is applied only over one part of my face. I guess there’s no need for me to state where exactly, as you can see everything yourself.

The concealer doesn’t look like a mask over my skin and once you let it set, its finish becomes absolutely undetectable.

Of course it helps me to fight my skin blemishes, this time the under eye dark spots.

In my opinion, the result looks fantastic, you can see it from the photos.

The only negative thing about this product is that if I stop using it for some time, it becomes dried texture-wise. But if you use it regularly, you won’t ever face this problem.

My rate - 5 stars

Price: $18
