Hello there!

If you can’t pass by this palette just like I do, believe me, I understand you. This palette is a perfect travel-friendly option from The Balm.

I bought it for $39.

It was packed in a paper cover, while the palette is also made of thick paper.

It has two shuts which open and close with magnets:

the upper one (with a mirror) and a smaller one with tips and tricks on how to combine the shades.

It offers 9 eyeshadow shades, a highlighter, bronzer, 2 blush shades and 2 lippies.

So, the eyeshadows: 2 are matte, 5 shimmering and 2 matte with glitter.

This is what they look like under daytime lights. I applied them with my finger over a primer on the right and on the left without it.

The pigmentation isn’t out of this world but still worthy. The shades blend out softly on my eyes and in general, that’s great for personal use. I’m very glad to see some basic shades here like white, pink, and brown as well as extravagant and dark ones.

Also, the palette has a highlighter, a bronzer, and two blush shades.

Non-primed skin:

The champagne highlighter is my love! 💛 This is the most versatile shade which will flatter any skin tone! You can apply it to the natural finish for the glowing within look because the grain is the finest, as well as apply it with a brush or your fingertip for more glowing and visible results.

The bronzer is soft in texture, average in pigmentation and warm in shade. It blends out well on my skin and doesn’t have a patching finish.

The blusher of peach and cool-toned pink shade applies over my skin, neutralizing my minor skin blemishes, polishing away my pores. It’s easy to go overboard with it so make sure to apply the tiniest bit of it with a brush for the most natural-looking results. Sometimes I can also use it as an eyeshadow.

And finally, two lipsticks.

They are both matte but it’s weird that the crimson one applies way easier than the peachy shade. They dry out my lips a little. They’re more convenient to apply with my finger rather than with a brush. I can also use them as blushes but I dread pore clogging.

In the end, I want to say that not all the products from the palette made me rave about them. I’m not impressed with both lipsticks.

However, speaking of the good sides of the palette, I can’t help but stress:

- its handy packaging. The mirror makes it the best traveling-friendly option;

- the shades which are possible to use for daytime and evening makeups;

- gorgeous highlighter;

- the blushes polish my skin and revive me.

Highly recommended but I give it 4 stars out of 5 because of the lippies.

    This is my favorite multi-tasking palette from the TheBalm. I can’t help but recommend it to everyone. It usually happens that brands create eyeshadow palettes with only 1-2 wearable shades, while the rest of them are 50 shades of unnecessary white or something like that. Well, it’s different here.
