This is my favorite multi-tasking palette from the TheBalm. I can’t help but recommend it to everyone.
It usually happens that brands create eyeshadow palettes with only 1-2 wearable shades, while the rest of them are 50 shades of unnecessary white or something like that.
Well, it’s different here.
This palette has the color tones that are really well put together and pair amazingly well with one another. There are no similar hues there, so you can get creative and make various looks every day beginning from angel to rock baby makeups.
Here are the swatches from top to bottom:
Welcome is the right and classy milk shade that is present in almost any eyeshadow palette. It’s a basic color that lightens the underbrow area and helps blend out the colors smoothly.
Bienvenue is a beautiful rose gold that can be applied under the brow, to the eyelid or used as a highlighter.
Bienvenido is pure gold that looks great both alone and together with the other blending shades. It blends out fuss-free and leaves minimum fallout behind.
Benvenuto is pink satin that is perfect as a transition shade.
Tervetuloa is warm orange satin with a slight red undertone. It frequently comes in handy when I have no time for putting on makeup, but have to look amazing and refreshed. I apply it alone to my whole movable eyelid and my lower lid. After that I color my lashes with mascara and I’m ready.
Welkom is the very green that most of us can’t tame. Therefore many girls avoid using it. The color is super gorgeous. It’s dark emerald. Such complicated shades usually fall out and make makeup look messy. That’s why I recommend you apply a thick layer of powder under your eyes prior to application. Also, you can sweep away fallout after applying or you can use the eyeshadow first, sweep away the residue and follow up with a foundation and other makeup products.
Willkommen is satin hazel. It’s the right and basic brown shade.
Valkommen is a complicated dark brown with golden particles. This is a nice option for smokey eyes. The shimmer doesn’t fall out when wearing.
Failte is the last black satin with the same golden particles as in the previous shade.
Additionally it has a highlighter that is very similar to the popular Mary Lou, a bronzer that may be a problem for fair-skinned girls and 2 pretty blush shades: pink and peach.
Below you can find two creamy products, the colors of which are similar to the blushes. The brand made these shades multifunctional, which means that it’s a lip and cheek makeup. For me, however, these color tones are blushes in the first place. I can’t imagine wearing them on my lips. However, this is a personal preference thing.
Overall, we get a nice palette with all wearable products that saves our money and space in our makeup bag. This palette is very useful and especially helpful when traveling, when each g in a suitcase matters.
I hope my review was helpful for you.
Yours,
