I’m on the lookout for my ideal mascara now. My demands for it are the following: the mascara must be long wearing, it shouldn’t crumble during the day, yet at the same time it should be easy to remove; it should be lengthening and curling, creating the doll-ish eyelash effect that doesn’t look clumpy. I also want it to be affordable yet lasts a long time.
And I always try to buy cosmetics by the brands that don’t test on animals.
I prefer natural and harmless ingredients and components.
And looking for my ideal mascara I was drawn to the bareMinerals brand.
The product costs $17 and its volume is 11ml.
My attention was immediately caught by the red tube which looked expensive and was pleasant to hold in my hands. The box was also very beautiful. The brush looks very unusual: it’s a silicone brush with the bristles curled around the wand thanks to which I find the brush very convenient to work with. I appreciate that the bristles don’t touch or scratch my eyelids.
The product is cool, though I feel like it doesn't give me enough length. But if you prefer rather natural effect in your makeup, then you’ll love it.
The mascara is very long wearing, and I can wear it the entire day and it won’t flake off. No irritation occurred thanks to the natural (more or less) list of ingredients:
Water, Beeswax (Cera Alba/Cire D'abeille), Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Palmitic Acid, Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax (Candelilla Cera/Cire De Candelilla), Stearic Acid, Triethanolamine, Styrene/Acrylates/Ammonium Methacrylate Copolymer, Hydrolyzed Quinoa, Methyl Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Butylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Caprylyl Glycol, Xanthan Gum, Myristic Acid, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Silica, Malachite Extract, Potassium Sorbate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Iron Oxides (Ci 77499).
It doesn't wash off with ease if I use a facial cleanser. I always have to use some specific makeup remover.
My rate is 4 stars. I won’t repurchase it, though I feel like I can recommend it to you, as the mascara is good. The thing is that it didn’t suit me 100% and that’s it.
