This was a well thought out purchase. I couldn’t be indifferent towards this cleanser after I tested it in the store. I liked the effect and didn’t forget it even after testing a few other products.
CLINIQUE Pep-Start 2-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser
I absolutely love its outer appearance! The cleanser comes housed in a big eye-catching fuchsia tube. When I look at it, I instantly remember summer, sun, berries and holidays! I can always enjoy a bit of summer in my bathroom, regardless of the current season.
There is no pump dispenser, the cleanser comes out through the little hole in the white lid. The tube is handy and easy to use.
The cleanser has a gel-like consistency, not too runny. It’s orange-colored. At first sight, there is nothing special about this cleanser, but it contains many exfoliating particles which polish my skin so wonderfully!
I don’t like face scrubs because of my sensitive skin. Usually, I prefer gentle peelings. This very cleanser is a great replacement for such peelings for me.
It can be used twice a day, like a regular face wash. I think those with oily skin might like it. However, it’s a bit too much for me. I use this cleanser a few times per week, apply it onto dry skin and massage onto the face and neck. Then I rinse it off and proceed to my skincare routine.
The gel cleanser lathers well and can be effortlessly removed from the skin.
The aroma is light, barely perceptible.
My skin is normal, prone to dryness. Now, when it’s cold outside, I got a few problems like flaking, etc.
So, when you can’t heal it, get rid of it. When applied onto dry skin, this cleanser works like an exfoliator, removing flaky skin and the rest of makeup, plus it deeply cleanses the pores.
There is no unpleasant tightness after using this gel. The exfoliating particles don't scratch my skin.
It provokes no redness or irritation. I like how even it makes my skin relief!
As a result, I get a beautiful skin color without flaking.
That’s a really versatile cleanser, which would go for any skin type.
