❁❁❁ Hello there! ❁❁❁
Today we’ll talk about a primer from the Becca brand. It’s a light hydrating primer which glows up the skin. It’s lavender in color and it minimizes the dull complexion.
I got this product from a set of beauty products. I have a deluxe sample that offers 15ml.
The full size has 30ml and it costs $39. By the way, it also comes with a pump.
If you really want to give a shot to this product, then I’d recommend you buy the full size right away because the deluxe sample of 15ml is terribly inconvenient to use and it wastes the product.
The formula here is very runny. Yet it doesn’t always come out of the tube smoothly.
I have to shake it and then it erupts like a volcano.
It’s always a problem to get it out. I always end up with so much that it feels like half of it was wasted already.
The smell is potent and floral. For me, it’s a little bit inconvenient because I can still feel that smell for several hours after application.
Ingredients list:
Water, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Butylene Glycol, Mica, Opuntia Ficus-Indica Stem Extract, Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract, Sea Water, Tocopheryl Acetate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Menthyl Lactate, Silica, Benzimidazole Diamond Amidoethyl Urea Carbamoyl Propyl Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Carbomer, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin, Amyl Cinnamal, Citral, Limonene, Linalool, CI 77891 (Titanium Dioxide), CI 77007 (Ultramarines)
This primer has nothing to do with silicone infused makeup primers. This one is more like a lightweight and hydrating emulsion. I don’t like it as a primer at all. You see, it doesn’t erase the appearance of my pores and I can’t see any glowing skin. It doesn’t even out my skin tone or hold my makeup in place.
I can see some glowing finish but it’s so difficult to make out that I have to look very close. The moisture is there but it isn’t significant.
Before and after shots.
The result isn’t so obvious. I mean the product does something but at the same time, it feels like nothing. It’s not a skin care product or a primer as it’s supposed to be.
Never recommended!
If I were to compare it with the Becca Backlight Priming Filter from the same set, that one is much better and it nicely polishes my pores.
