Thank God I received this sample for free. I can’t think about buying this mascara at its full price for such results.
Beauty bloggers are buzzing about it. Some of them comment upon fuss-free formula, some immediately throw it away, while others just wipe the brush over the rims of the tube and assure that this way it becomes close to perfection.
The brush is silicone but it’s really soft. The bristles here move easily, making it just impossible to separate my lashes with them.
No matter how hard I tried to wipe it over the rims of the tube, this mascara is still a CATASTROPHE for me! It makes my lashes so clumped. I get 1 thick lash instead of 5 long and thin ones. This is all due to the runny consistency that the formula takes too much time to dry down. Even within 5 minutes of application, I still can’t blink because I risk of clumping my lashes together even more. This mascara doesn’t lift or curl my lashes. So if your lashes are like mine - straight - then this product will turn them into long sticks, which are super straight. Maybe the picture doesn’t show all the terrible results so vividly but I assure you that my natural lashes are thick and voluminous, while in the photos you can see 10 straight sticks.
It’s noteworthy that the formula is difficult to wash off. I’ve tried a lot and still didn’t manage to remove those panda-esque circles around my eyes the next morning. But this is all good, taking into account that this mascara makes my lashes fall out. Within those 3 days of use, I’ve lost 6 eyelashes. They just fall out every morning now. I toss this product and stop my attempts to tame it.
Overall:
- it clumps my lashes like there’s no tomorrow
- it takes too long to dry down and still isn’t transfer-proof
- it makes my lashes straight and heavy
- it’s tricky to remove
- the soft brush doesn’t grab my lashes as needed
- the price tag is enormous
