I don’t know why but there aren’t many positive reviews of this mascara from Benefit. As for me, I haven’t found any big flaws in it, as well as serious pros, though. It’s just a regular mascara, without any “wow” emotions.
I chose this BADgal BANG! mascara at random but I liked its brush. I appreciate its shape, even though silicone brushes aren’t actually my cup of tea. The product promises voluminous and charcoal black lashes.
I have a mini of the full size. I bought it for $16. Still pricey, especially comparing it with the Maybelline Colossal Volume costing less and performing almost the same or even better than Benefit. But still, I’m happy that I’ve got this product and now have my own opinion about it.
The design is fantastic. Cute and unique, which is a feature of the Benefit brand in general.
The top part of the mascara is made of a rubbed matte plastic, which is very convenient, especially when applying the product.
The brush is made of silicone and even though I’m more into natural bristles, I still like this brush because of all those thick bristles.
The brush is long and it can coat all the lashes at once.
So now about its characteristics:
✔️ the color is black and really pigmented
✔️ the consistency is pretty runny but it becomes thicker with time
✔️ the formula is easy to apply smoothly due to the convenient brush
✔️ I haven’t noticed any promised volume increase but the product does make my lashes appear more separated
✔️ one coat looks rather natural, while the second and the third may already clump my lashes together
✔️ at first, the product used to fall out but when the consistency became thicker, the problem vanished
✔️ it is really long-wearing

This mascara is worth 4 stars. It’s pretty pleasant to use but it doesn’t show excellent results. This babe requires some time to get used to it. Over time you’ll know how to use it quicker and easier.
Will I repurchase? I doubt it. The main reason is the lack of volume on my lashes, which is a key factor for me. I take the price as too high for such a regular result. But still, I can recommend it for purchasing. It’s isn’t a trash product.
