I’ve never used such products before, as I always thought that there is no need for me. I believed that an eyebrow pencil or a pomade would be enough to define and give my brows some color, but the Benefit Gimme Brow has completely changed my opinion about the eyebrow makeup game.
So, let’s go over the review:
The tube
The concept of the packaging is really fascinating. It reminds me of a crystal or a bullet. The silver plastic material is quality made and the color doesn’t fade over time. The writing also doesn’t come off after continuous usage. Inside you can see the product with 3 ml and a small brush wand for application.
The brush wand
The limiter works well. It gives just the right amount from the first use.
The gel is the same liquid and fresh after a month and a half of almost daily use.
This product is nothing like an ordinary mascara. The texture is not viscous, thick or waxy. Upon first using and even now the consistency reminds me of water with a pigment, which is actually quite intense.
The swatch
In the picture above I made a slight swipe on my hand without layering or anything. It’s clear that the color is quite intense and not at all transparent.
Blended out
Here, I distributed the fresh gel with my fingers. As far as I can see, the Benefit Gel in the shade No. 3 has a cold undertone that doesn’t go orange or green, which is a widespread issue with light tones.
The product dries out in about 2 minutes. After that it won’t be possible to blend it out. It’s not water-resistant, plus it doesn’t fix my hairs for good, so it won’t probably be good for those who tend to touch their faces very often throughout the day. Moreover, it can ‘flow’ against oily skin.
Other than that it lasts all day easily and performs really well till I remove it.
Bare brow
This is how my bare brows look. I have light brow hairs that point downwards. I’m a brunette with light skin, therefore my brows have to be defined, otherwise they are undetectable on my face.
Below you can see my brows with the Benefit gel. I guess they look more shaped and presentable, agree? This product is a real godsend for those who love natural makeup. There will be no sharp lines or super defined brows. The result is very gentle and pretty.
Defined brow
In the picture above you can notice that it lacks some hairs at the beginning of my brows, but the gel won’t help me there, because there is simply nothing to color and define. I sometimes draw the missing part with the help of an eyebrow pencil. There is no other way for me 
In the upper photo I have only Benefit Fiber Gel on and in the lower I also used the pencil to draw the missing part.
Total look
The verdict:
The product is really decent and no doubt worth buying. It will be perfect for girls who are fond of natural-looking makeups and those who have quite thick but light eyebrows.
HOWEVER, it won’t be good for those with oily skin and those who touch their faces too frequently. Also, the product is not one for girls who have gaps in their brows.
