The brand Benefit firmly occupied a certain niche in my heart because of their gorgeous sets of minis. In fact, I really respect those brands which sell minis, because it must be frustrating to buy a full size and understand that the product doesn’t suit you. Recently I bought a set for me which housed this blush.
This golden-nectar blush gives any look a natural-looking warm glow! Embossed with a stunning “golden nugget” overspray, the specialized formula gradually lifts away to reveal a rich, nectar shade infused with delicate, golden flecks throughout the powder. The soft, blendable formula also features a signature scent with notes of citrus, vanilla & sandalwood.
My mini looks exactly the same as the full sized package. It’s actually a cardboard compact with a small mirror and tiny brush inside. (It feels like I won’t ever use it because it’s impossible to use yet at the same time I feel too sorry to throw it away).
The mini houses 2.5g of the product, which is more than enough for testing.
They claim that the formula features a scent with notes of citrus, vanilla, and sandalwood. But I can’t make out any of these. I can feel only something floral, bright and chasing. And this scent is really lingering. I never get why they always scent cosmetics so much that I have to sniff that nasty smell for so long.
In the pan the shade of the blush looks more golden-peach and shimmery. But on my skin it looks exactly the same as the famous MAC Dainty blush with a barely visible hint of peach glowy undertones.

Oddly enough, I noticed that the product isn’t long-wearing, even though the Benefit brand can really boast with long-staying powder products. The maximum that it stays on my skin is about 6-7 hours. After that it fades away completely.
On the one hand, the product is really interesting and super flattering and maybe the only right one for a summer holiday, but on the other - it’s a failure in all the respects for daily wear. Thank God I didn’t buy the full sized pack.
