Hello world!
Have you ever experienced such a feeling when you buy some very beautiful product and are afraid to use it, just because you don’t want to destroy all that beauty? This is actually what happened with me and my new blush from Benefit Gold Rush.
I always pay a lot of attention to the Benefit branded design, because they release products which are ergonomic and super pleasant to hold in hands, as well as keep on a vanity and just look at.
Price: $29.00
This blush is a part of the Benefit Blush Bar, which costs $58 and offers a selection of the branded blushes of full sizes. So, the bar is more profitable, I deem.
This blush comes with a good quality cardboard cover. The design screams retro and feels like it really brings me somewhere in the past.
Size - 5g./0.17oz.
I’m sure that the product will go a long way and I’ll keep on using for for years. The blush inside was covered with a protective inner plastic membrane.
Inside the compact has a small mirror, adorned with a foiled frame and a small natural bristled brush. It isn’t bad, but I put it aside, because for me it’s easier to apply the product with a bigger brush.
The blush has a beautiful and really stunning printing, which reminds me of a gold bar.
The upper part offers a chunky shimmer, which will fade off very quickly, don’t worry. Even though the formula does have shimmer bits to it, they still aren’t detectable on the skin. I’d say they are here to enliven my complexion and make it glowing with health. This product comes only with one shade which is golden-honey peach.
The shade is really versatile and will flatter fair skinned girls like me, as well as those swarthy ones.
Aroma- It’s pretty potent yet pleasant. I don’t know how to describe it. It doesn’t smell like my granny’s makeup, which so many girls dread.
The texture of the blush is powder and the pigmentation is semi-sheer. It’s difficult to overdo this shade. The first go already ensures a natural looking flush. I applied 2 coats to show you. In other reviews the girls are scolding this product for shitty pigmentation. Well, have a look at these shoots then:
The pigmentation is killer for a blush! The product isn’t vibrant, so you won't stain your cheeks with a red color which will be almost impossible to blend. The Gold Rush Blush is a gentle and delicate product, which ensures beautiful and easy blending. The wear time is about 6 hours. I even tested it out in the heat. I assess it with the deserved 5 stars and highly recommend it for purchasing!
