Pros: good pick-me-up effects, hydration, instant eyelift, it makes dark under eye circles less visible, it makes my eye look less puffy, it works great as a concealer primer

I was waiting to get my hands onto this pink magic wand since I first faced the problem of a dry, too pigmented and too sensitive skin of my clients.

Ooh La Lift
Ooh La Lift

Ooh La Lift
Ooh La Lift

I dared to order it online and I’ve never regretted doing so!

Unfortunately, life is so that many women nowadays don’t take proper care of their skin and I have to say that their skincare game rarely comprises of more products than just a facial soap and a baby cream. Needless to say that such a regimen changes their skin condition for the worse, especially if we speak about sensitive under eye skin. So, such a boost is just a must-have indeed!

The drier the skin is, the more active it’ll be to soak all the moisturizing and nourishing components from a concealer or foundation, leaving the skin too dry. All the pigment will look cracked over it. It’s awful.

This is what the product says:

Like an instant eyelift in a tube, this brightening balm contains light-reflecting pigments to perk up tired peepers. Enriched with raspberry extract, it nourishes the delicate area around the eye and can be applied to bare skin or over make up for an eye-deal afternoon pick-me-up.

I always apply this Benefit Ooh La Lift boost right after my under eye skin moisturizer. Aside the puffiness diminishing (the effects aren’t instantaneous, of course, any magic has its limits, you know) and light dark circles appearance reducing, it also brings such comforting feelings for me! The boost seems to be setting my under eye cream, keeping my eye area hydrated throughout the day, hence making my fine lines less detectable.

But for me, the most important thing about this product is comforting feelings which I experience. Smile When you feel comfortable, you’ll never be distracted with your concealer being too heavy or creased etc.

Ingredients list:

The product came packed with a pink cardboard box. As for the tube with the formula itself, for me, it looks like a lip product - a pro-longed tube with a screw-on top cap and a doe-foot applicator.

The price on the official site is $23.00

I can’t make out any smell to it.

The texture is creamy and lightweight. It applies pleasantly and I can see an abundance of light reflecting particles in the formula. The color is semi-transparent, it’s pink and white.

After application, the product significantly hydrates my skin and reduces puffiness, such a pick-me-up. However, it doesn’t work solo or as a skin care replacement.

The maker recommends applying the product with three little dots under each eye. I follow this recommendation and apply the product over my dark under eye circles and then blend out the formula.

For a comparison I applied the product only over my one eye

How to apply:

Apply three little dots under each eye and gently pat with fingertip. Reapply as needed for a perky-eyed pick-me-up.

Full look. I applied my foundation, concealer and powder over this boost and my under eye area still doesn't look cakey :)

In the end, I’d like to say that the Benefit Ooh La Lift Boost is an excellent product, which will work for those with dehydrated or aging skin, all well for the girls with too pigmented eye area. And of course, it’ll really flatter everybody during winter times when we all look for additional skin moisture and nourishment.
