Hello, girls! Many of us have a problem with enlarged pores. Some people can hide them with foundations, BB creams, powders, etc. But sometimes it’s quite hard to hide them under the layers of cosmetic products. So Benefit decided to help us out and created a balm to minimize the pores appearing-- the Porefessional.
It can be used in different ways: as a primer or to fix makeup.

The color of the product is a bit brown. Consistency-wise it is light and creamy.
The scent is very pleasant, powder-like.
About my skin:
My pores are enlarged, especially on the cheeks, on the sides of the nose and a bit on the forehead. I use Porefessional as a primer. As it’s advised I apply a small amount on the problem areas, tap delicately and blend towards the cheekbones.
This product doesn’t rid you of the problem of enlarged pores, it’s a kind of photoshop which temporarily masks the pores, so it may seem that you don’t have them for some time! In a few hours the pores become visible again and you’ll need to reapply it. You won’t hide them fully, only minimize. Honestly, the ingredients aren’t very good. But what can you expect from this product? Silicone goes first.
Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Isononyl Isononanoate, Silica, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Isododecane, Phenoxyethanol, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Cyclohexasiloxane, Tocopheryl Acetate, Fragrance (Parfum), Mica, Iron Oxides (CI 77492), Limonene, Iron Oxides (CI 77491), Iron Oxides (CI 77499), Triethoxycaprylylsilane, BHT.
It means that the reaction can be absolutely different. I read that sometimes the redness of the skin may appear, and of course you must be ready that the product will clog your pores, so it totally depends on you, whether to use this product or not. I hardly ever use it, only for the special occasions. If I notice that there’s an oily shine appearing, I usе Matte Rescue porefessional by the same brand.
I will recommend this product, but you should bear in mind that the product is just a temporary thing to hide your pores but if you want to get rid of them, there are some other special products-- clay masks, for example.
