After I fell for the Porefessional face primer, I was so interested to try the License to Blot Stick that promises to keep oily shine at bay.
I use this stick to make my face look matte and blot it during the day over my makeup or without it.
I also tried to apply the product as a primer but alas I haven’t noticed any result: the pores were still there (though it doesn’t promise to make them visually smaller as the blue primer, does it?). But it does really keep oily shine at bay nicely!
I apply the product over my makeup following this technique:
1) if I know that my makeup is long-wearing and the products are staying, I can easily touch my face with the stick and then blend it out with my fingers. It’ll give me 100% matte face.
2) If you are afraid to smudge your makeup (it doesn’t smudge mine at all) then you can dab the stick over your face slightly or use your fingers to apply it:

it makes my complexion look matte longer than any face powder, let alone blotting papers
the stick is nicely-shaped. Its triangular tip targets shiny zones like sides of my nose very well.
I also find it convenient at the gym, when I use it before and after a workout.
Honestly, I’m very delighted with this blotting stick. It’s a true must-have for my oily skin!
