I love eyeshadows. And I also love BH Cosmetics eyeshadows. Everything is great about them: price, quality, shades. Honestly, I wanted to dupe my worn eyeshadow palette from Carly Babel, that’s why I opted for such a plain color selection.
A 24-colour eyeshadow palette.
Ready to dazzle? Brimming with lustrous and matte shadows, Opalescent Palette is the ultimate soft glamour collection. From glistening rose golds and coppers to shimmering lilacs and deep cocoas, these ultra-pigmented shades offer irresistible day to night radiance.
About the price
$24 for 28g of the powder! That’s an awesome price!
About the packaging
The design of the palette rocks my socks off. It’s so gentle and airy. The palette was initially packed in a paper box with some information on it. Inside, there is a mirror and a plastic liner between the mirror and the shades.
I love the branded paper palettes. Nothing happens to them. My other blush and eyeshadow palettes from the brand are safe and sound, even though I’ve been using them for more than a year.
About the consistency and aroma
I was anticipating that this palette would be a dupe of my palette from Carly Babel consistency- and shade-wise. But nothing of that kind has ever happened. I mean, the shades are awesome and the quality is great, they’re just different.
The products don’t smell of anything. They almost don’t crumble or fall out when I apply them.

About the eyeshadows
First of all, I liked them because of the shades. I mean, I’m too falling for pink-brown-golden colors. And this palette offers quite a selection of them.
Flutter – A delicate crème matte.
Dainty – A warm beige matte.
Captivating – A luxe gold shimmer.
Lovely – A glistening rose gold.
Charm – A pink-toned nude matte.
Dreamer – A brilliant copper.
Bright – A baby pink matte.
Alluring – A peachy nude matte.
Opaline – A gorgeous pink shimmer.
Dazzle – A shimmering beige.
Gorgeous – A warm chocolate matte.
Grace – A gentle beige matte.
Twilight – A twinkling lilac.
Magic – A vivid lavender shimmer.
Star – A lustrous champagne.
Fling – A burnished bronze.
Romance – A soft bronze gold.
Delight – A scintillating gold.
Vivacious – A deep pink shimmer.
Wish – A vibrant purple matte.
Stunner – A soft brown matte.
Sequin – An intense golden brown.
Opulent – A deep cocoa shimmer.
Mystic – A velvety cocoa matte.
The Wish shade surprised me. It’s so beautiful and saturated with pigment, which is rare because such shades are super difficult to create.
I also want to highlight the Magic color. Maybe it won’t blow your mind with its vibrancy but it’s so beautiful and elegant on my eyes.

About the ethical aspect
The brand doesn’t test on animals. The palette is vegan-friendly.
Overall thoughts
It’s a fabulous basic/first/permanent eyeshadow palette! But it’ll be too boring or pale for professional makeup artists. I can highly recommend it for your first makeup experiences.
