I’ve been pondering over whether to buy this primer from Bobbi Brown for a long time and finally decided to give it a try. This review is written after two months of using it.
Actually, I love all kinds of makeup primers. This love came with age and moving to a hotter climate. Without a base, my makeup would simply come off within a few hours here.
So I have something to compare this product with. As you know, there are primers that hide pores and even out the skin tone, and there are primers that are supposed to moisturize and give a healthy look. This primer belongs to the second category.Well, the tube has a discreet design (typical for high end). Under the sun, the tube itself seems to glow
This primer provides UV rays protection (SPF 35). I find it really important, because not every foundation of mine does it.
The list of ingredients and description:
A multitasking face primer designed to enhance the quality of your foundation, illuminate the complexion, blur imperfections and help even out the skin tone.
From the description we can tell that this primer has caring properties too, which I can’t be happier about
The primer is pearly pink-beige, with a pleasant yet subtle scent. A little bit goes a long way, a pea-sized amount is enough to cover the whole face (okay, the pea must be quite big). The primer applies without effort and absorbs quickly, giving the skin a delicate pearly glow without making it shine with fat.
It won’t erase large pores, though, but little imperfections will be blurred for sure. It does beautifies and moisturizes my mature combination skin. All foundations of mine look perfect when applied over it. The primer can also be used solo, and the result still would be great.
My makeup doesn’t crease or come off throughout the day. In my opinion, this works great and lives up to the prices.
Well, dear Bobbie, bravo!
