I bought this BB cream approximately a year ago, but it’s only now that I’m writing my review on it...
I bought it on the official website of the brand. The BB Cream costs about $18.
The formula is quite thick and seems oil-free. It smells of tea tree oil, and the smell is pretty strong, but since I love tea tree oil, I’m okay with that.
Let’s proceed to the application.
Clean face without problems:
The BB cream is applied.
The coverage is very lightweight. The BB Cream has created an even skin tone and concealed the redness. It cannot conceal the pimple on the forehead, though.
The BB Cream doesn’t settle into my pores, and doesn’t clog them.
The finish is matte. But not for a long - in a few hours, my face starts shining. I wish I could have a matte face without all those blotting papers!
With a concealer.
When the concealer is applied only in the under eye area, the skin tone on the rest of the face will appear too sheer. That’s why I have to spend a lot of time covering the blemishes as well as evening out the skin tone, which is frustrating because of course, one can go without concealer, but for me, that’s not enough. Sometimes I use the BB Cream all over my face, including the under eye zone. That’s only if I want a lightweight makeup.
And the final result:
I use this BB Cream on weekends, when I don’t need a long lasting makeup.
I don’t think I should recommend such a controversial product, so read the review and decide for yourself, whether you need it or not.
4 stars, won’t repurchase
