I couldn’t help but purchase the Bourjois City Radiance, because I love foundations with a glowing effect.
The thing is that they make my face more healthy-looking, glowing and refreshed.
I have problem skin, but I still use foundations, because I think that my skin looks much better when I have a foundation on anyway. In addition, I get some protection from environmental factors with it.
This foundation has a straightforward design yet it looks stylish. The product comes in a plastic pale-pink tube with 30 ml.
The pump is not included and the foundation comes out of an ordinary nozzle, but that's OK with me.
Initially, the nozzle was covered with a foil, which is good, as it means that nobody has ever opened my tube!
The package has a metal-like cap with the logo of the brand.
I have fair skin, so I picked up the shade No. 02 Vanilla. I think it will match most skin types. Moreover, it has a yellow undertone.
As far as you can see, the texture of this foundation is quite thick and doesn’t flow. However, it distributes onto my skin easily.
The scent is nice, fresh and not obtrusive.
General information about the product
My impressions
Right off the bat I have to say that I use this foundation to even out my skin tone and make it look more fresh and not for covering up pimples.
My bare skin looks like that:
So, the light to medium coverage is perfect for me.
This foundation has a rather medium coverage, which is good.
Today I’d like to share my experience with the Bourjois City Radiance Foundation:
The product goes quite a long way and that is great. Just a tiny amount is enough for application.
It spreads out easily, but requires some time to settle down on my skin.
It covers up my large pores, redness and some insignificant imperfections. However, it won’t probably conceal some heavy breakouts.
Gives a slight glowing finish that doesn’t look in-your-face, but very natural.
It wears about 4 hours on me. After that an oily sheen appears. I use a powder to remove it. In general, it survives a working day pretty well.
The texture is not oily, so I would recommend it to all skin types except for the problem skin.
It has SPF 30, which is awesome for summer.
Doesn’t emphasize peeling.
No breakouts or clogged pores.
This is how my skin looks with the Bourjois City Radiance Foundation on.
General look with the blush and bronzer.
I think it’s a perfect foundation for every day! I love how it looks on my skin. The application doesn’t require much effort and the quality of the product is good. Plus, the price is so affordable.
I will definitely recommend you the Bourjois City Radiance Foundation. It’s one of my favorite products so far!
I hope my review was helpful for you!
