Hello. If they ever ask me what my favorite lip gloss is, without thinking back, I’ll definitely say those ones by the Buxom brand. But can all lip glosses by this brand be so great? They can’t unfortunately. Currently I have two faves of mine and one shade is a complete outsider for me. But let’s start from the very beginning.
I have these babes in small packages of 2 ml each. The full-sized products house 0.14 oz (4.44 m) of the contents.

The package is rather heavy and pleasant to hold in my hands. The applicator is steady, resilient and doe-foot. I find it very difficult to work with when applying the lip gloss all over my lips.
Texture-wise, the product is of average thickness and I have to say that it’s tacky.
Though, I find the formula convenient on my lips.
It sets in quickly and doesn’t budge. I really like that it isn’t runny but has a very interesting formula which is a little bit “steady”. 
The main feature of this Buxom lip gloss above the others, which make it really popping, is the cooling effect that it gives to my lips. I wouldn’t say that it’s minty, for me it’s milder than a minty effect. But I have to say that this cooling effect stays on my lips for a very long time until the moment the lip gloss disappears. I like these tingles. They make me excited. :)The smell of the product is very pleasant. It reminds me of a sweet cappuccino with some notes of vanilla to it. After the application there isn’t any vanilla scent on my lips left.
So now, let’s have a look at the shades.

1. This shade is called Dolly (it’s on the right on the swatch). I think this is the most popular shade in the collection. I adore it! It really brings me such a desired “my lips but better” effect. It has a very small, barely visible shimmer to it. This shade doesn’t make my lips appear lighter and never creases.
My rate: 5 stars
2. This shade is called Jane. It’s applied on the left on the swatch. Well, this guy awfully settles into my lip crevices with the darker shade. Yet at the same time, I can’t say that it feathers. It has tiny blue micro-shimmer particles to the formula, which is also very difficult to make out. The shade looks stunning. It’s so berry-like, though I can’t recommend it for purchasing.

3. And now the Nicole shade (it’s swatched in the middle). This is my fave! It’s such a muted yet bright color with a more detectable shimmer in the formula. It applies beautifully, never creases and stays on very long. I appreciate that it doesn’t budge. It’s uber comfortable while wear.

Overall, I have to say that the Buxom Lip Polishes are good and I love them (even though there’s one exception, which is the Jane shade). Most of all I’m hooked on the cooling effect they give to my lips.
