Hello pretty ladies! Wink

Have I already mentioned that I adore lip glosses? So, my review today will be one more proof of that love. This is the Buxom Full on Lip Polish which I bought very recently. I wanted to try it a long time ago, about 2 or 3 years ago when YouTube was filled with this product and the hype about it. And of course I became curious and decided to buy it.

The design is cute and pleasant to look at.

The cardboard box has all the product info on it. The tube with the product is acrylic and has a matte base.

The tube turned out to be rather big, though. The brand Buxom products all seem to be big, because I had a chance to meet one of their lip liners which was gigantic, guys! It was the biggest lip liner I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen a lot, since I have a very profound cosmetic experiences.

Size - 4.2 ml

Expires within 12 months.

Made in the USA

Buxom Full on Lip Polish has a rather typical consistency, which has a very pleasant smell by the way. It smells of sweet mint and some fruit.

And here’s where the good finishes, and the complicated begins.

The product is easy to apply all over my lips, because of a small applicator that glides on very smoothly. This lip gloss doesn’t feather and never creases with a white film on the inside of my mouth. But, it applies so unevenly that it shows off all my lip relief and accentuates all the flaws!

If you think that you have even and non-relief lips, believe me, the Buxom product will make you think differently. But it’ll be fair enough to notice that within 15 or 20 minutes, the product changes its mind and starts to perform better and evens itself out over my lips.

However, within 15 minutes of wearing this lip gloss, you’ll be absolutely indifferent to the way this lip gloss looks over your lips, because they will feel super cold. After the first application when I knew about this feature, I was amazed at how freezing this product was. I’ve tried a thousand of cooling lip glosses but I’ve never had such a freezing chap in my collection before. It really makes my lips feel super cold and that feeling doesn’t pass within 20-30 minutes.  After that the product calms down and becomes more bearable on my lips. I guess that it’ll be a good product for summer, but, honestly, I can’t imagine wearing this in winter when it’s really freezing outside.

As for the advantages, I want to list one more thing here. This lip gloss is the least tacky that I’ve tried recently.

I mean my hair can still stick to it, but there isn’t any nasty sensation when I press my lips together and they don't stick. Nothing like that.

I also was impressed with the staying power it shows - the product can stay on for 4-5 hours. After that, the gloss vanishes, leaving my lips soft and hydrated.

The White Russian shade is one of the most popular in the collection. It’s a gentle, semi-transparent shade which has pinky-peach notes with a barely detectable shimmer to the formula.

I can’t help but adore all its beauty. This is why I decided to make a small comparison with some other similar lip glosses from my collection:

I’ll list them from left to right:

  • Lancome Gloss in love Volumizer;

  • ColourPop Ultra Glossy Lip "Fairy Floss";

  • Buxom Full on Lip Polish "White Russian";

  • Starlette Volume Activateur Collagene;

  • Clarins Eclat Minute #01.

I've already mentioned that within the first 15 min, this Buxom lip gloss looks like crap on my lips. But then it evens itself out and looks more decent and much better.

I haven’t seen any significantly fuller lips after using this lip gloss, even though the cooling sensation was very hard and my blood circulation was quicker, I deem. The glossy finish looks vibrant and sensible.

I have to tell the truth and confess that I love the way my lips look with this lip gloss on, this is why I’m ready to forgive it the crap performance and super freezing effect within the first 30 minutes after application.

Yet still I have to try to be objective with this Buxom Full on Lip Polish in the shade "White Russian". And here I’ve got nothing but 3 or weak 4 stars for it.

I guess that there aren’t many girls who are actually ready to wait for their lip gloss to look good after 30 minutes. And I also dare to say that the same results can be gained with many other lip glosses out there, which are much more affordable.

Do I regret buying it? Maybe a little. Yet still, I keep on using it because I feel sorry to throw it away.

I don’t recommend this product for purchasing for you. But if you feel okay when you have to tame your cosmetics and you love freezing effect on your lips, then you might really love this lip gloss.

Price: $20

Thanks for your attention and have a joyful shopping spree! Wink
