Hello, makeup junkies and eyeshadow worshipers in particular!
I want to tell you about the eyeshadow palette BERRIES from BYS. I bought this 12-shadow palette online. Positive reviews, color selection, and an affordable price were the key factors that pushed me to purchase.
General impressions
The palette is made of metal and inside it has a mirror (it’s probably made of plastic) which seriously distorts the image from a distance but it’s rather bearable when I keep it close. The packaging is similar to the popular best-selling palettes like Urban Decay Naked2 and Naked3.
Inside, the palette offers 12 shades and also 2 makeup brushes (here’s a dual-sided synthetic brush and a dual-sided applicator). They’ll probably be problematic for makeup application, however, I can still find a use for them.
The colors from the palette are juicy and vibrant. The naming is justified. You will find shimmer, satin and matte colors here. In fact, the palette can be used all year round for daytime and evening makeup, even though the colors might seem too vibrant and bright.
My impressions of products application
The first thought that crossed my mind was “WOW, these are fantastic!!!” All the shades are massively pigmented, easy to layer and blend out. It’s always such a pleasure to use them. Even though they are really soft and dusty in the pan, there’s almost no fall out when I apply them on my lids.
I tested this palette with an eyeshadow primer as well as without it. And I can’t say that I noticed any significant difference.
Even though I was wearing them for 12 hours without an eyeshadow primer, the colors didn’t crease, which is so common for many other eyeshadows, you know. The pigmentation over the non-primed skin is still fine. For instance, in the morning, when I’m in a hurry, I can miss a primer.

I was impressed to discover this color selection in the palette and with the way they apply on my skin. Nowadays there are so many red and orange eyeshadow palettes in the market and such makeup is super hyped. For a couple of days after the purchase, I couldn’t dare to try those bright shades, which are Majestic, Cherry Bomb and of course Juliet. (I was too afraid to draw a big bruise on my eyes. That’s why I started using only those muted and familiar to me shades. However, once I tried those brighter ones, I couldn’t stop. 
The palette from BYS will be a discovery for beginners, who are just starting to experiment.
The products blend out with ease and they never turn into muddy-brown spots on my eyes.
All the colors are good quality-wise. However, I want to stop on some of them.
The shimmering Glow and Antique stand out because of their quality. They are unbelievably soft and apply like butter on my eyes. If applied damp, they can even replace eye tints and liquid eyeshadows.
The shades Peachy and Radiance are must-haves for inner corners and brow bone accentuating.
The shade Berry Haze is absolutely unique. It’s a little bit ash-pink, matte and ideal for daytime makeup.
My eye makeup with this palette
I want to show you some ways of me using this palette.
At first, I want to say that I’m not a professional makeup artist and I post my makeup just to show you all the colors in action and the way they look on my lids. Here the eyeshadows were applied without a primer with a dry brush. Aside from the shades from the palette, I also applied some mascara for my lashes.
In the end, I recommend this Berries eyeshadow palette from BYS!!! It’s a great mixture of an affordable price and quality of the product!
