Decluttering my makeup, I found this lip gloss, which has been in my collection for a long time.
Characteristics-wise it’s okay but I still don’t like it and I’ll tell you why later.
Calvin Klein Delicious Pout Flavored Lip Gloss
The price for an item was about $12.
The size is huge and it goes a long way but the packaging is terrible.
The tube with the lip gloss is made of thick plastic that has no applicator. That long nozzle with a hole in the middle is actually an applicator here.
It’s all due to the consistency of the lip gloss, which is thick by the way, it’s always a trouble to get it out. I always have to store it vertically otherwise the formula will never come out.
In the packaging, the product looks saturated and golden but in fact, it’s clear with shimmer bits. It’s especially beautiful under the artificial lights when the shimmer shines brightly.
For me, this shade is too fair, given that my lips are already naturally pale. I use it either with a lip liner or wear on top of my other lipsticks.
daytime lights. I contoured my lips with a lip pencil
Calvin Klein Delicious Lip Gloss makes my lips glossy, shiny and more pouty at the same time. It doesn’t crease or settle into fine lines. It neither feathers or budges. In a word, it performs really well.
Right after the application, my lips feel tingling and I can feel the aroma of sweet cinnamon! Not everyone will like it but I adore it…
The smell stays there for quite a long time with distinctive notes.
The staying power of the lip gloss is great - 2-3 hours. After a bite, it comes off gradually and doesn’t ever streak over my lipsticks. The finish is tacky but not too much.
I also appreciate the skin-friendly formula of this lip gloss and I can see that it really nurtures my lips.
When used regularly, it helps fight chapped lips.
In general, I love this product characteristics-wise but the packaging is freaking me out.
Thanks for your attention to my post!
