I bought this eyeshadow jar in the color #08 once I saw them. First of all because they are from the Ombre Matte collection which is so hyped and secondly I was drawn by the beautiful and autumn-like shade.
The outer appearance of this limited edition eyeshadow compact is the same as of the eyeshadows from the main collection. The products are placed in a transparent box with a golden cap.
The consistency of the product isn’t creamy (but many reviews are rather misleading) and not at all gel-like either. This eyeshadow is creamy-powder-like with great pigmentation and a velvet finish.
It’s so easy to work with the Ombre Matte Eyeshadow. You can apply it with your fingers as well as with brushes. The formula is buildable thanks to which it becomes possible to create evening as well as daytime makeup.
The lasting power is good. If applied on non-primed skin, it’ll hold on up to 6 hours but if you prime your lids before that, I guess the product will stay on an entire 24 hours.
#08 Heather really looks like a shrub-shade. It’s a complicated color (I adore complicated colors) which is unique. It’s a gray-lilac deep color which sometimes blooms with a warm-toned taupe shade. It looks stunning on my eyes and always looks different. Ombre Matte Eyeshadow is my fave for sure!
I definitely recommend you have a look at this product, especially this #08 Heather color. I’m sure that this very color won’t ever disappoint you and you’ll always use it!
