I received this Clarins Supra Volume Mascara as a gift from my loving relatives. It came along with a makeup bag, eyeliner and eye makeup remover in a set. Actually I didn’t know what to expect. Let’s take a look together!
The tube is beautiful, golden-metallic, nice to look at and hold in your hands. Made in France.
The statement on the website is also attractive:

It means, the mascara not only provides volume, but also takes care of lashes, making them grow thicker. I doubt I can prove it, though, because I don’t think I’m willing to invest this much into the Clarins company 
After opening, the mascara should be used up within 6 months. I think it’s too long and impossible to keep it, because you either run out of it or it’ll dry out. I’ve been using this for 2 months along with another mascara. The tube isn’t empty, but the brush is a bit dry already.And here is the brush. It’s big and fluffy, and bristly, almost like a makeup brush.

At first, I was even scared off by the brush because I thought it would apply my mascara in clumps. But as it turned out, I was wrong.

And here is the same eye with Clarins Supra Volume 01 Intense Black Mascara:
And this is a single coat of mascara. No clumps or spider legs. My lashes look thicker and longer, with a delicate curl. Plus, the color is really intense. My lashes are naturally black, but the color of the mascara is even richer.
The mascara doesn’t fall off and leaves no stains even after contact with water. It never lets me down even though I used eye drops and cried in the wind. When I wash my face, I use a special eye makeup remover or simply a face gel. Either way, the mascara comes off flawlessly without irritating my eyes. The brush has a kind of thick floral smell.
I was glad to receive this as a gift but I suppose one can easily find an alternative on budget.
