Well, it’s time to tell you about my favorite foundation, which is Clinique Even Better Makeup.
Our love at first sight began with a sample.
I had skin problems back then: blind pimples, redness and unpleasant blemishes. That’s why the foundation really hit the spot.
The bottle isn’t big (1 oz.) Not convenient, because it lacks a pump dispenser, and since the foundation is pretty thick, you have to shake the bottle in order to get something on a brush. There is a sun factor protection (SPF 15). Let’s protect our skins from photo-ageing. The formula is thick but can be effortlessly spread on the face. I do it with a dense brush. The foundation isn’t economical
I own the foundation in 05 neutral, which is a perfect match for my skin. Even if I apply it in a hurry, it adapts to my skin tone.
The coverage is excellent. Usually, I apply it without a makeup base and it covers what must be covered. My skin is beautiful and blemish-free. Plus, it’s the only foundation I ever used which doesn’t make my skin look flaky. Actually, it provides my skin moisture.
The formula is thick and a bit visible on the face, but it’s a foundation for skin with discolorations, after all. If you don’t overdo it, no cakiness will appear.
The lasting power is cool. It stays on the whole day long, doesn’t slide off or disappear, unless I touch my face with my hands.
It can look a bit oily on my skin, that’s why I apply a setting powder over it. No face shine till the end of the day.
Now to the most fascinating part of the review. There is an unpleasant blemish mark on my chin. The blind pimple disappeared, leaving this scoundrel behind. Well, I know how to deal with it.
Before \ after photos. No photoshop. Isn’t it impressive?
The whole look:
But please keep in mind that this foundation is for problematic skin only. I use it only by necessity, when I have many blemishes or want to look gorgeous. But I don’t think that I should use it daily, because the foundation is quite thick and might clog my pores.
Anyway, I recommend it!
